Roo saved?
Tilly was in class but all she could think about was Roo. She hadn't gotten much sleep lately. She couldn't get over the fact that what happened to Roo might have been her fault. If she would just be more patent, Roo wouldn't have gotten in that accident. Then the teacher's phone rang.
"Yes. Yes, she's in my class now. OK. Yeah I'll tell her. Thank you. All right,bye. Tilly, the hospital called, your mom is on her way here to pick you up. There is some news about your sister. Your mom will be here to pick you up in a few minutes.''
"OK, I'll get my stuff packed." Tilly said, confused and scared at the same time
A little while later she was at the hospital.She went up to her sister's floor. Her mom was already up there. When she walked in, Roo was sitting up.
"OH, ROO!!!!!!" Tilly shouted happily.
"Hey little sis." Roo said, with a scratchy voice.
Roo looked horrible. Her eyes looked almost swollen shut, she had bruises everywhere and her left arm and right leg was broken.
Just then, Roo started having problems breathing.
"ROO! ROO, ARE YOU OKAY?! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO HER?'' Tilly asked, panicking. Not even the doctors know what to do.
"Roo, Roo, listen to me. Breathe. Listen.Listen." Dr. Quiet said. Tilly was fighting back the tears to see her sister like that. Roo was constantly screaming in pain.
Then everything was silent...
