Things I Hate About Warriors Fanfiction

ShadowClan is evil!!!1!

Oh god.

It seems that in most fanfictions that involve the canon Clans, ShadowClan is depicted as evil. Why??

Some do this because that's what was done in the series, ShadowClan was known as evil. But times change. ShadowClan are no longer cruel. In fact, ShadowClan is a wreck.

Is it because of their name, ShadowClan?

Seriously, this really gets on my nerves. Why don't we have the oh-so-noble ThunderClan as evil for a change? Or WindClan? What about RiverClan?

ShadowClan deserve better representation, they're the Slytherins of the Warriors world. They are not evil - they have merely been given a bad reputation and shunted to the side.

ShadowClan deserve better than what they get! They're strong, really strong. They survived Brokenstar, Tigerstar, countless sicknesses, the great journey, The Dark Forest.. They didn't have any mysterious prophecy cats to save them.

Give them some credit! They've had a worse time recently than the other Clans, and look at what happened in Thunder and Shadows. Did they deserve that? No.

ShadowClan are awesome and everyone who says otherwise can suck my ass. (Nah, it's perfectly fine to have your own opinions.) Let's destroy the misconception/stereotype that ShadowClan are evil. It's time we all opened our eyes and realise that the series has changed drastically since The Prophecies Begin, and that ShadowClan should no longer be viewed as evil - because they've changed. Right now, they're a broken Clan in need of help, if they can even be considered a Clan anymore.

Let's make our fanfictions original, and stop giving ShadowClan a tough time.
