Chapter 5

There are explosions all around them as they fall, and when Steve opens up the parachute, Sydney looks up and sees the plane flying away. Good. They wouldn't get hurt. When they land, the twins walk for a little while until they find a road, with trucks. They ran behind the last one, and Steve picked up his sister, and threw her into the back of the truck, where she ducked and rolled to absorb the impact better. She turns around as soon as her brother enters and her eyes widen. She taps him on the shoulder and her turns around to see the two guards, just staring at them.

"Fellas," Steve says.

Sydney punches them in the face and Steve knocks them out with his shield, and they throw them out of the truck.

Now they just sit and wait and after a few minutes, they feel the car being turned around and the truck gives a small jolt, and they stop moving. The younger sibling moves so his shield is positioned in front of the twins. As soon as the flap on the back of the truck is opened, Steve uses it to knock out a Hydra soldier that was checking the bed of the truck. Sydney pops her head out, and looks around to see if anyone was looking. She motions to her brother that all was clear, and they move past the small warehouse like building where the guard was flung into. There's a man speaking german on the intercom, though she couldn't understand a word he was saying. They sneak through a courtyard of some sort filled with tanks and trucks and things of the sort. She finds a pistol in a crate with many others, though it was glowing. She holds it up to feel it's weight, and finds it's just about the same weight as her own pistol. She takes out her own and switches it with the newer one. They run across the courtyard, making sure to avid spotlights, people, and the like, before they climb onto a tank and up onto a small building. Sydney was hesitant to use her speed, as it left a trail, and they could be tracked if someone or something was fast enough.

They entered the massive building, and wander around for a bit, sort of lost, until they come to a door that looked promising. She gets out her newly acquired pistol, and nods at her brother, who does the same to her. He taps on the window and a guard comes to check on it. He pops his head in, and Steve slams the door into his head. He's disoriented until Sydney pistolwhips him. Now, he's just passed out. Steve drags his body into the hallway and the twins sneak through a massive room filled with blue glowing machinery. They stop at a table and see something like what her pistol was made out of. Sydney takes it and places it in one of her thigh pockets. They continue onward.

They reach a guarded prison area and climb on top, before knocking the only guard out. Probably should have had more guards.

"Who are you supposed to be?" A man asked. Sydney would later find out that man's name was Gabe Jones.

"I'm, Captain America," Steve says and Sydney grinned. At least the name was good for something.

"And you?" Game asked the older of the twins.

"Call me swift," Sydney said from behind her mask.

"I beg your pardon?" Another man asked. His name was James Montgomery Falsworth, a british soldier who was fighting for America.

They grab the keys, and get down. Sydney uses her speed and opens up all the cage doors, at what looked to be the same time. The men all exited their cells and Sydney and Steve were looking around for a familiar face, which they could not find.

"What are we taking everybody?" Steve asks and Sydney just rolls her eyes.

"I'm from Fresno, Ace," Another man says. His name was Jim Morita

"Is there anybody else?" Sydney asks, looking around frantically. "I'm looking for a sergeant James Barnes."

"There's an Isolation ward in the factory," James Montgomery Falsworth says as the begin to walk out of there. "But no one's ever come back from there."
