A secret meeting

Anna was beyond frustration about the fact she couldn't go on a quest to save her own brother until Chiron gives her permission. According to Hazel, he is waiting for a prophecy from Rachel Elizabeth Dare, the Oracle.

After several days, Anna became restless. She worried about her brother all day until it became too much. She was going to have to do something about the situation.

She rapped on the Poseidon cabin door, hoping that Percy was inside. Instead of Percy, a really huge teenager opened the door, she looked up to his face and had a shock. He had only one eye.

"Uh, is Percy in?" She asks, intimidated by the thing.

He nods and shouts, "Percy! There is a girl with brown hair waiting for you."

Finally, Percy appears. "Sorry, that's Tyson. My half brother."

"Oh. Speaking of brothers-"

"You want to sneak out, don't you?" Percy asks, raising his bushy eyebrows at me.

I nod slightly, looking behind me. "I'm going now. Tell Chiron, will you? In the morning?"

"Wait, you can't go alone."

"I have Britt."

"Wait at the border gate, I'll get some demi-gods you'll want to take with you."

"Fine. Not too many." I said, turning away to pick up my backpack from my cabin.

In the backpack, she had packed some things she had been given from other demigods. Things like flying shoes from the Stoll Brothers, which she still didn't trust, and cookies filled with sleeping potions from Clovis back in the Hypnos cabin. There were some other random things like blue pancakes, from Percy, and the Ring of Gyges from Chiron. The Ring of Gyges was a golden ring, Chiron said that it could do great things if used correctly. Unfortunately, Anna didn't know what it did, only that it had some essence of power in its aura.

Britt and Anna padded softly across the grass, keeping a careful eye on any lurking harpies. A light across the field notified her of the presence of her 'quest mates'. As she came closer, she could see the faces of the demigods Percy had chosen.

There was Percy himself, obviously, Annabeth, Nico, Jason, Piper, Will, Leo and Clarisse. Anna hadn't expected to be quite so many of them, but they would be a strong group. The group of skilled demigods stepped out of the gate into the unprotected and unpredictable world. With a mission that could kill them, or save somebody's life.
