       MATE! MATE! Alexa shouted through my mind. I tore my eyes away from his and snatched my shirt from Sean and walked back towards the garage shaking my head as I grumbled. Really?!? Him? Out of all the males in the worlds the moon goddess thought that an alpha who is known to be cruel and aloof was my match? Why couldn't it be Josh he would be perfect for me...why moon goddess why?! As I reached my car I thought about just getting in and going home this whole thing was stupid, but all I ended up doing was slowly sliding down the side of my car next to the wall hanging my head low with my shirt still firmly in my hands. Go back out there! He's ours and I want him! Alexa growled as I blocked her out. **Cough...Cough** I looked up to see the pair of steel blue eyes that I just ran away from to hear him say "You must be Daniella? I'm Anthony De Luca mia amore". I gaped up at him comprehending what he just said not fully aware that it had probably been a long time since he he had first spoke and I had yet to respond only staring in disbelief. "Bella are you alright...does your arm hurt?" he spoke softly with a slight italian accent gauging my response. "I...I umm I'm fine it's just a scratch...I could have taken him I was perfectly fine I didn't need you're help!" I said with a bit of venom as I gained courage as the words continued coming out of my mouth. Take that back Dani you take that back right now! Alexa bellowed. It took me surprise when I heard this throaty chuckle "I'm fully aware bella I don't doubt that". His response surprised me and this was when I took in his appearance. He was wearing a plain black t shirt that was fitted showing off his muscular frame and lime green/black board shorts like he had freshly come from the beach which also showed it his hair that was shaggy brown as well as being spiked in all different directions if it had dried salt water in it. His face had a short beard that was only a short amount longer than stubble, but perfectly suited him and i could see the bottom of a black and grey scale tattoo under his sleeve on his right arm. Looking up at him I guessed he stood about 6'5 which made me feel completely tiny in comparison. "Wait...did you just say that you don't doubt it...?" I had been taking in his appearance too much to realized what he said until I snapped out of it boring my gaze back into those steel blue eyes again. At this is bent down so he was almost at eye level with me saying "I did...you'd have to be very strong and fierce to be my mate mia bella" smirk forming on his lips. My jaw dropped hearing this statement who the hell was this guy?? Was this really this jerk off alpha that everyone talked about? I'm so confused...here I was sitting here falling apart at the seams not even able to stop myself from wanting a man I know nothing about besides that he is supposed to be an ass! "Dani? Sorry to pull you from your thoughts mia bella especially when you have an incredibly sexy confused/thinking face, but I don't think blood is good for your paint". My eyes grew wide as I yelped and jumped up quickly wiping the car off with my shirt only to realize I'd now ruined one of my favorite shirts...dammit. I groan in annoyance and heard him chuckle as if he heard my thoughts "I'll buy you a new shirt, but for now could you please put it back on it's frustrating for my wolf as it is that my men have been staring at you like this for this long". I blushed before putting my shirt on and checking that I didn't miss any blood on the car as he grabbed my hand helping me up. I gasped as hundreds of warm sparks erupted between our hands as he made slow circles with his thumb on the back of it. I was pulled out of thoughts again this time they were more graphic of me ripping his clothes off which I felt my cheeks flush when he tilted my chin so I was looking him in the eye again feeling the electricity "Is this yours?" he said rubbing his hand down the angle of the roof towards the trunk. "Yeah she's all mine restored her myself including rebuilding the engine" I glowed and a smile formed on my face talking about the car that I loved so much turning back at him to see a mixture of childlike joy and admiration on his gorgeous face. Did i just think that he was gorgeous...Yes you did. Our mate is absolutely perfect! Alexa purred. "Do you want to drive her?" the words came out of my mouth so fast that I didn't even know what I said. Who am I? I wouldn't even let my own father drive my baby and now this guy I just met I was practically pushing him in the driver seat! "Really?!?" he almost shouted with such childlike enthusiasm that made me melt instantly and all I could do was nod and smile like an idiot. "Yeah I'd love that I'll show you around the territory" he replied grabbing the keys from my hands noticing the small amount of panic crossing my face as I let go of them. "Don't worry mia bella I would never harm anything that is associated with you" he breathed out in a husky whisper that sent chills down my spine and I visually shivered hearing him chuckle as he moved around to the drivers side. 

      As we drove around and he showed me the boarders of the territory looking like he fully was enjoying the car my phone started to ring and I picked it up seeing Derek's number. "Hey Derek" I said hearing a deep growl coming from the drivers seat him glaring over at me, but his eyes focused on the phone against my ear. "Dani! It's great to hear you where are you? You haven't checked in is Cole with you?" I heard Derek say through the phone as another growl erupted from Anthony chest as he pulled over in front of the cliffs overlooking the ocean now fully looking at me. "Oh Cole found his mate in the Golden Pack ALPHA....I just got to the Bloodmoon Pack this afternoon" I tried to emphasize the word alpha as much as I could as I saw Anthony visually relaxed waiting for my discussion to be done now taking a chance to look over the interior of the car. "Oh that's great I'm happy for him...what about you finding what you're looking for?" I knew Anthony had heard Derek through the phone and was now looking at me with a curious expression on his face waiting for my answer...damn alpha hearing. I paused and thought about it for a minute. Did I? I'd learned while at the Golden Pack that I was more than worthy of my gamma title and after this short drive I can say that there is definitely more that I need to learn about this bloodmoon alpha, but I was willing to take that risk. The thought alone made Alexa purr and pace with excitement. "Yeah Derek I believe I have...listen I'll mind link you later ok?" "Oh yeah that 's fine definitely check in I want to know when your coming home. bye" I hung up thinking was that really home? A place that made me feel that I wasn't worth listening to unless my father was on the field with me...a place that reminded me of what I thought I wanted until this man next to me came into the picture...was that home? "Che cosa stai pensando la mia bellezza?" snapped me out of my thoughts "huh?" was all I responded with which made him laugh. "You're thinking really hard over there what about maybe I can help" he said with a kind smile turning the engine off as he motioned me to get out with him so we could really see the view. "I...I don't know I just feel really conflicted." "Perche?" "Just...I had this whole plan and I just never anticipated that mister scary bloodmoon alpha was going to come into the picture like this. I honestly almost just skipped coming to your pack all together..." I said looking down at the ground slightly smirking, but definitely sad. I felt tingling through my jaw line as he brought my gaze up to his as I slightly leaned into his hand drinking in the contact. "You can't always believe what you hear mia bella and as far as a home is concerned I would hope that you would consider here with me as a choice" he said softly pulling my back into his chest as we looked over the water and I could feel him bending his head towards my hair breathing in my scent. Both of us completely content watching the sun start to set over the calm ocean. 

    I woke up startled in the middle of the night feeling like I was missing a part of myself and slightly confused about where I was I looked around the guest room taking in each feature. I figured it would be best for me to at least sleep away from Anthony so I could collect my thoughts even though it took a lot of convincing on my part. He and his wolf weren't too keen on leaving his mate unmarked by ourselves, but I kind of insisted even though now I'm not so sure it was a great idea. I've been nothing but restless since we went to bed a few hours ago. I turned to look at the clock **2:30** Fuck thought to myself I wanted to be up in 3 hours to let Alexa free for a run in the state park next to the pack house. Go to our mate...we'll be able to sleep with him near us I heard her say softly through my mind. Without giving myself time to think I got up fixing my nightdress repositioning the spaghetti straps and walked out of the room down the hall to the corner room that I knew was Anthony's. I softly opened his door and closed it behind me trying not to wake him only to hear "Come here bella" as I got closer to the bed he pulled back the sheets then pulling me into his bare chest. I nuzzled my nose into the side of his neck breathing in his scent instantly calmed with the last thing I heard "Buona notte amore" before everything went dark in a content dreamless sleep.
