I focused on each word of the song as it came through the speakers of my car singing along as the engine purred giving help to the slow base of the song. I looked over to my supposed copilot who fell asleep an hour into our drive down from our beautiful Roque Bluffs, ME to Portsmouth, NH where the first pack down from us lived. Their pack was called the Golden Pack and they were roughly the same size as our, but we were definitely more skilled in combat which I was really proud of seeing that was in my blood. We had roughly a half hour left in the just under five hour drive I knew I had to wake up sleeping beauty so he could call to give them plenty of warning we would be there soon. I was nervous as it is about this I really didn't want to get anyones bad side before our visit even started. I shoved Coles sleeping form and pretty hard at that with not even a twitch from him. You know what I think you should do...Alexa purred evilly. I smirked to myself before jacking up on my breaks causing Cole to jolt forward his seatbelt catching him right before his head smacked on the dash. I started laughing as I heard him screaming like a oversized girl. "Oh you think you're really funny don't you? I almost died in my sleep and then where would you be without all of this in your life" he said smirking motioning to himself as if he was the goddess gift to she wolf kind. "Oh how ever would I go on" I replied rolling my eyes. "You better call them were about 20 minutes out and you know how I feel about surprises". "Plenty of time calm yourself D. This is probably the most laid back pack that we will meet on this little journey of ours." smiling as he picked up his cell pushing the right contact. "Beta Everett, this is Beta Cole requesting permission to come into your territory in roughly 15 minutes...thanks kid see you soon...See D all set no worries he'll be waiting at the main road into the pack compound for us." I nodded looking up at the exit coming up downshifting through the gears pausing as I merged onto what seemed like a main inner road. This place already seemed way more populated in comparison to home which wasn't saying a lot. "Take this next right Dani the main entrance should be just a minute or so down the road we'll wait for him there. Relax by the way your making me nervous" he said chuckling. I took his advice as took a deep breath in and out before stopping the car on the side of the road letting the engine growl as it idled. "This is a beautiful car" I heard jumping in my seat almost hitting the roof. "Sorry didn't mean to startle you, I'm Beta Everett of the Golden Pack. You must Daniella and Cole?" he lightly laughed. "That's us" Cole boomed behind me. "The big dope is correct" I said with a smile "you want to hop in and tell us where were going?". "I'd rather drive" he looked so hopeful that I almost considered it, but no no one drives my baby. Before I could say anything Cole responded for me "You'd be better off asking for a lap dance" I glared at his smirking expression turning back to Everett who was now dying of laughter. "Fair enough was worth a shot" he replied moving out of the way for me to open my door and to move the seat for him to squeeze into the back. Everett wasn't not attractive in fact he was very attractive about 6'2 blonde hair that was perfectly cut on the sides longer on top and slicked back with blueish green eyes, but sadly there was nothing there he almost reminded me of Cole in every way. Someone I'd want to have around me, but not in the way that I wanted. "Ok just stay on this road for about a mile then turn to the right that's the pack house the Alpha is waiting for us there. He's actually hoping that while you're here Daniella you could run some trainings we've heard your amazing." I blushed at the compliment while Cole snickered in the passenger seat. "You can call me Dani actually and yeah I mean were here for a few days I could do that, but I don't know what you've heard..." "They've heard you're satan in a pint sized package" Cole said laughing at his own joke, but Everett seemed to think it was funny too. "Oh ha ha ha Cole just because you're a big baby doesn't mean their men are" I responded back emphasizing men as I said it smirking as he scowled back at me. Satisfied with myself I turned to see a huge house and what I assumed to be the Alpha standing there shirtless in a pair of work out shorts and looking behind him a saw I really beautiful woman walking up that looked like she could be his twin. They both had black hair perfectly tanned with matching hazel brown/green eyes and both very tall her probably being 5'10 and him 6'6. I turned to say something to Cole as his eyes looked as if they lost all color. Oh boy I know that look...I said to Alexa. I didn't even have time to say anything to Cole as he almost ran out of the car right past the confused looking Alpha up to the now blushing female grabbing her and picking her up in a huge bear hug. "Well...that was fast" I said turning to Everett who seemed to be laughing in the back seat. I let him out and walked over with him to the Alpha bowing my head slightly in respect. "No need for that I'm Josh. Welcome to Golden Territory" he beamed smiling. "I umm see that your beta already has met my sister Jessica. You must be Daniella?" "Yea just Dani actually if you don't mind. I hear you want me to run some trainings while we're here? You sure about that? Apparently according to lover boy over there I'm Satan" I smiled in response. I heard Everett snort in laughter behind me as Josh chuckled "Yea we've heard you're one of the best. Impressive I must say for a female gamma." he replied. I looked at him raising an eyebrow which made him start to back peddle "I didn't mean it to be offensive...crap".  "Calm down Alpha don't hurt yourself. I just expect a lot from the people I train that includes wolves with titles...I'm assuming you'll be joining?" I said with a devilish smile. "Umm yes I will be. We'll show you guys to your rooms" he replied looking a bit nervous that he might be in trouble tomorrow. I laughed at his response which is when Cole and Jessica joined us. Everett had already grabbed my duffle for me and Cole went to grab his as we walked into the pack house.
