Warrior Luna

       It has been almost a week since the ceremony for me to become luna of the Bloodmoon Pack. I woke up feeling cold and strangely along then realized that Anthony wasn't in bed with me. Sitting up looking around I finally noticed that I heard the shower turning off and moments later he walked out of the bathroom wrapped only in a towel. I couldn't help but stare at his slightly wet still breathtaking form my eyes absorbing every detail. "You keep looking at me like that bella I won't be able to contain myself." His statement made me instantly blush and avert my eyes to the ground as I got up from the bed. I heard him laugh as I did so saying "Don't be embarrassed Dani I was only joking...well not about the self control part. You look all you want I'm as much yours as you are mine." My cheeks heated up again with his words ever since my first heat I have been fighting internally with Alexa about being ready to fully mate or not. I walked over to him kissing him gently before walking past him to get myself ready for training with the girls ages 13-16 in the pack today. I had made it my focus to bring the women in this pack up to speed and they had done amazing already surpassing my expectations in the short amount of time. "Bella?" "Yes love?" I answered from the bathroom as he walked back in now dressed in black dress pants and a blue button up shirt that he was still buttoning up. "I'm going to be out at a meeting today with a neighboring pack with Sean, but I'm leaving Blake in case you need his aid even though I know you can handle yourself" he said with a wink. "Whose pack are you seeing? Josh?" I replied back with new interest in the conversation. "No Bella not Josh it's a pack in New York under Alpha Keith. They've been having recent issues with rogue attacks and we're in discussion of alliance or at least potentially having them send some warriors back with us to train. He expressed interest in having that more because of you mia amore they're calling you the 'Warrior Luna'." he spoke with a smirk on his face as mine turned to confusion. "Tone...how is it that everyone knows about me? I never traveled outside my pack until now." I spoke genuinely wanting to hear his opinion as well as knowing he'd tell me the truth. "Dani there are very few females in our world that reach to the top commanding tiers of our societies, but even fewer who can handle themselves the way you do when it comes to combat. You bella are unique in the sense that you have the skill of a true alpha female without the linage." his words washed over me feeling his pride before kissing my forehead telling me he would be home late tonight. 

       I took my time getting ready feeling the distance between my mate and myself grow as soon as he left the compound. I heard a soft knock at the door to our room then a smile crept across my face smelling Heidi's scent fill the room as she entered. "Morning Heidi are the girls ready?" I had taken Heidi up as my in a sense second in command she had proven herself the first few days of training, but she also had gained my trust in many ways previous to that. She will make an amazing tracker which is what we have started to focus on with her in individual training. "Yes Dani. I had them start with a short run in wolf form since you said you wanted to move into wolf training today." "Perfect as always Heidi lets get going then." I replied with a grin on my face walking out of my room with her in tow. Walking onto the field I saw all the girls finishing their run as well as Blake doing some training with the elite warriors on human form combat. Good morning luna I hear his voice break through my mind. Morning Blake. How many times do I have to tell you it's Dani? I hear his deep laugher across the field At least one more time Luna. "Heidi have the girls get water after the run is completed then tell them their pairs we've discussed I want to go talk to Gamma Blake for a moment" i said walking away as she nodded to my request. I walked across the field to him feeling my presence coming closer he turned face breaking out in a smile "Come to inspect my work Luna?" he spoke with a humor I've grown to love. "Not at all 'Gamma' I trust your abilities fully it actually is more I need a favor from you" I replied with a smile of my own putting emphasis on calling him gamma making him grin more. "Anything you need" "Good now I need you to spare with me in demonstration for the girls". His face fell which made me laugh knowing that he wished he had asked before agreeing. The men have learned that I'm a bit of a challenge I made them think not just something they could bull over with strength. "Oh...yes Luna right now?" "Yes Blake right now, but don't worry I won't make it too hard for you" I said with a wink giggling. I heard a growl erupt from his chest that made me laugh even harder especially when he became really embarrassed apologizing at the same time. As we made our way over to the ring where the girls were all waiting a strange sense of unease fell over me lifting my nose smelling the air a new scent filled me making Alexa growl and snap loudly Rogues! I turned to Blake his eyes darkening as he must have picked up the scent also. "Girls! Behind me now!" I boomed with such power that they flinched, but moved quickly in their wolf forms still to behind myself and Blake as the males that were on the field moved to join us also. It was then that a single male came out of the woods slowly in just a pair of basketball shorts his blonde hair untamed, but straight hanging forward over his amber eyes with a unnerving smile on his face. As he came closer i could sense at least 8 others in wolf form coming into view, but staying in the tree line. He stopped about 10 feet away from us before he finally spoke "Ah you must be the luna that everyone has been talking about? I must say they did not say you were such a beauty though". At this a loud growl ripped through Blake's chest forcing the rogues glare to change to him. "Did I offend you pup? I was merely complimenting your Luna it's not like I said what my real thoughts on what I'd like to do to her" he spoke again causing a chill to go down my spine in disgust and my fists clenching by my sides. "Watch your tongue rogue! Now I suggest you leave or we will kill you all" Blake shot back before I could say something. "Tsk tsk pup...adults are talking here. Now it's Daniella isn't it? You my darling are going to be coming with us willingly or not." "You can go to hell. I'm not going anywhere." I spat back with as much venom as I could muster. His grin got wider with my response "I hoped you'd want it that way love." He shifted into a sandy color wolf and lunged forward towards me, but Blake was faster shifting into his charcoal colored wolf on the leap to intercept him. That's when all hell broke loose. I shifted into my wolf letting Alexa take control as the other rogues came out of the tree line. Leave one for interrigation.  Yes Luna I heard all the wolves on the field respond as one. In total numbers there were 12 rogues that came out of the woods, but the odds were in our favor with about 25 of us. I tried to be in multiple places at once trying to protect the younger wolves of my pack which got me in trouble as a black wolf slammed into my side causing me to howl in pain as I landed on the ground before quickly getting up and clamping down on his neck breaking it in an instant. The fight was over fast with minimal serious injuries on our side which made me more than proud of the girls especially the young ones. Shifting back into my human form I realized that I had broken a couple ribs, but didn't pay it any mind as I walked over to Blake taking a shirt from other members of the pack who had ran out with clothing mostly mothers of the girls who were at training. I slipped it on smelling Anthony's scent on it becoming more calm in my last steps. Blake was standing over the original blonde wolf who was now knocked out badly beaten up, but still alive and he would heal. "Take him to the cells Blake...you should be very proud of your warriors I am." I said with a smile at the ending statement. "Yes Luna. I even believe that earned them a day off" he said with a chuckle before turning to a warrior named Justin nodding to him to take the rogue away. 

     I was laying in our bed reading a book after I had taken a long bath feeling really content with how our wolves had handled themselves today. The pack doctor had checked me out telling me that I had broken 4 ribs, but they were already healing and I'd be sore for the rest of the day. "WHERE IS SHE?!? DANIALLA!!" I jumped hearing the front door of the house burst open and running. Seconds later my frantic mate came running into our room his eyes softening almost instantly as he saw me. He quickly crossed the room taking my face in his hands kissing me with such passion before pulling away looking over my body with made me giggle. "I'm ok love you don't have to worry." "Don't have to worry?!? Dani you were attacked by 12 rogues today! I wasn't here to protect you....I failed you" he spoke with such pain in his voice that I melted. "Love...you would have been so proud of your wolves today and you even said it yourself this morning I'm the warrior luna" I replied with a smirk on my face which made him laugh. "That is very true, but you are still my warrior luna..." "Always..." I replied grabbing his hands bringing one up to my face leaning into it before kissing his palm. He forced my eyes to meet his gaze lust coming into his eyes "I was so scared I had lost you. I felt your pain through the bond and went insane. Xander my wolf was going mad I actually owe Keith a new desk...I may have umm cracked the wood when a slammed my fist when Sean couldn't answer my question about what was going on." he said with a slight smile. "Well all that and I'm perfectly fine. Better buy him a nice desk" I laughed through my response. "But you may not have been..." I play gasped in response to him saying "I'm hurt that you under estimate me alpha maybe we'll have to spare so you can see my strength first hand" a smirk forming on my face. "I'd like that very much mia amore" he said with a laugh claiming my lips as his own again.
