Marinette's alarm buzzes. She blindly reaches for her phone on her nighstand and grabs it turning it off.She places it back on the nightstand and sits up rubbing the drool off her face.
She remembered yesterday's visit with Alya. Alya loved the phone case she gave her and they ended up going to Starbucks.
Then she remembered those familiar green eyes staring at her, laughing at her clumsiness and getting weirded out by her jumbling of words.
She sighs and looks at Tikki who is fast asleep .She strokes her head gently with her thumb as she shoots her a small smile.
*at school*
"Yoo hoo Adrien"Lila cooed waving at Adrien. Marinette gritted her teeth at the thought of Lila coming near Adrien.
" Hey Lila"Adrien said as Lila held onto Adrien's arm. Then Chloe the human tarantula stormed over to the and expertly used her hip to push Lila
"Move along peasant Adrien belongs to me" Chloe spat
"I don't belong to anyone, Chloe"Adrien muttered under his breath.
"But Adrien doesn't love you" Lila said
"Of course he does" Chloe said looking Lila up and down
" No I don't "He muttered again.
She flipped her blonde locks over her shoulder."I'm rich,I've got the looks and I'm super pretty. What better way to be with him when we both got the looks here"
"Chloe common don't you think that's a little harsh" Adrien said
Marinette has to agree with Adrien on this one even though Lila hates Ladybug aka her.
Lila rubbed a tear that trickled down her cheek and ran away. Marinette felt sorry for Lila.
"That's right run off" Chloe said
"Aren't you gonna run after her Chloe and apologize?" Marinette asked
Chloe scoffs and turns around to face Marinette, one eyebrow raised"Paleeze she's the one who needs to apologize"
"Why did I bother to ask you"Marinette said shaking her head"you'll always be a brat"
She ran off not waiting for Chloe's response.
"Lila" She yells pushing the girls stall open."Lila were are you?"
But no response
(Somewhere in Paris)
"Do I sense anger, jealousy or the return of Volpina .Such easy pray for my little akuma"
*stretches out his palm as an akuma lands on his hand. He uses his right hand to cup the akuma. Purple and black flares enter into it and the akuma turns black with purple stripes. It flies off*
"Fly away my evil akuma and evelize that poor girl"
