Miraculous ladybug and Cat noir:if only you knew

Chapter 12

One week had passed and the two superheroes were starting to get used to knowing their identities.

"That constellation looks like a bunny" Marinette said pointing over at the sky. She snuggled closer to Adrien who squinted his eyes.

"I don't see it" Adrien said,blinking a few times. Marinette giggled a bit and pointed over to the sky where she saw the bunny.

"You just gotta let your imagination run wild" Marinette said . She pointed over to another constellation "this one looks like a Cat". Adrien squinted and finally saw the cat.

" Oh I see it now "Adrien said releasing a chuckle. Marinette loved the fact that Sabine and Tom allowed them to look at the stars from the balcony while lying on a picnic table cloth.

" Hey Adrien"Marinette said . Adrien turned his attention over to Marinette.

"Remember that time you thought you lost your phone" Marinette giggled . Adrien cocked his eyebrow at this strange behavior.

"Yeah" Adrien said. Marinette's giggles soon turned to laughter. What was so funny about him loosing his phone?

"Well" Marinette said looking up at Adrien "I kinda stole it from you". Adrien's eyes dilated as he looked at his girlfriend with shock. There was a moment of silence as Marinette looked scared. Had she ruined her relationship?

"Why" Adrien said releasing an amused smile. Marinette released a breath that she didn't she was holding in. She blushed a bit as she sat up, crossing her legs.

"Because I accidentally sent a message to you through Alya's phone. That was so embarrassing" Marinette said as Adrien sat up.

"I wanna hear it" Adrien said his eyes glinting with amusement. Marinette brushed her bangs aside and cleared her throat.

"Hey hot stuff,this is Marinette.I'd ask you out on a date but I got this crazy crush on you that the only way I could talk to you without foaming in the mouth is over this stupid phone" Marinette said blushing at the end. Adrien burst into laughter and at the end he held his stomach,catching his breath.

"Hot stuff really?" Adrien said causing Marinette to shrug "but I have to admit I am hot". Marinette playfully punched his shoulder. Adrien faked winced and rubbed his shoulder.

" Remember when the artist got akumatized?"Adrien asked as blush spread across his nose.

"Yeah I do" Marinette said smiling curiously at Adrien.

"Welllll" Adrien trailed off avoiding eye contact "it was my fault". Marinette couldn't help but laugh.

" Seriously? "Marinette said cocking an eyebrow " was it as you or Chat noir?"

"As Chat noir. He said laughing sheepishly " he was acting all lovey dovey and saying how amazing you are and stuff like that..."

"And let me guess you got jealous?" Marinette cut in .

"Yup" Adrien said "so anyway I told him that we are a you know thing". Marinette laughed again,her eyes became watery and her breathing became heavy.

" Wow ,just wow and I thought my jealousy of you and Chloe was crazy "Marinette wheezed clutching her stomach.

" So he became jealous and ended up becoming copycat ,which btw is a good look on him if I do say so myself"Adrien said flexing his muscles.

Marinette giggled and scooted closer to Adrien, wrapping her hands around him. Adrien snaked his hand on her waist.

"You know I would have given Chat noir a chance if I didn't have a crush on you" Marinette admitted. Although she couldn't see Adrien she knew he had a smirk on his face.

"Really?" Adrien said "does that mean you would have given my pawsome puns a chance?"

"Yeah right" Marinette said snorting out a laugh "your puns aren't pawsome their pawful". Adrien used his free hand to clutch his shirt having a fake hurt expression.

" M'lady that stung but I still think my puns are the cats meow"Adrien said purring. Marinette cocked an eyebrow at Adrien and shook her head.

"Never purr again" Marinette said "it doesn't suit you when your Adrien"

Adrien looked at her for five seconds and nodded in agreement. Adrien didn't want this night to end but it had to and that was now. His phone began to ring and Marinette released and scooted away to give Adrien's his space.

He picked up his phone and heaved an irritated sigh. He answered the call and placed the phone on his ear.

"Good evening father....yeah I know its late....no need to pick me up I can go home by myself....yeah don't worry...bye" Adrien cut the phone.

He placed it in his pocket and stood up. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.

"Are you going?" Marinette asked standing up and walking over to Adrien.

"Sadly, yes" Adrien said. He turned over to the trap door "plagg its time to go!". Marinette heard Plagg groan in frustration which caused her to giggle.

Plagg flew with Tikki onto the balcony and stopped right in front of Adrien's face.

" Tikki and I where in an intense argument about which food is better ,cookies or camembert"Plagg said crossing his arms and staring at Tikki who rolled her eyes.

"Plagg claws out!" Adrien yelled and plagg gets sucked into Adrien's ring,transforming him to Chat noir.

He walked over to Marinette and held her hands.

"Good night my princess" Chat noir said kissing her on the cheek.

"Good night kitty" Marinette said. Chat noir slowly released his grip on Marinette and jumped off the balcony.

Marinette turned around with a dazed smile on her face. Tikki giggled and flew over to Marinette, hugging her with her small hands.

She headed down the stairs into her bedroom and jumped down her stairs to the first floor of her room. She sat on her wheeled chair and grabbed her diary. Unlocking it,she got out her lucky pen and began writing on it.

Dear Diary
Today 💓Adrien💓 and I looked up at the stars. Although it was freezing cold, I still felt warm under his arms . I'm getting butterflies just thinking about him. Since we knew each others identities we decided to share some things with each other,which where funny by the way. And I have to admit though,his puns are quite funny, just quite.I think mine are funnier but Chat noir doesn't approve. Like during Reflekta I was on fire with jokes but Adrien just was like "your jokes are so lame" . Excuse me,but I think their way better than your cat puns .Anyway I'll have to sleep now cause I'm like extremely tired. Goodnight 💝.

Writing that last word,Marinette closed her diary and kept it in its case,locking it.
