Two Weeks Later

I gazed at my old table. Jordan, Nick, Dylan, Caleb, Sally, Sylvania and Selena were currently sitting as a group, while I sat on the opposite side of the cafeteria with Liam and a few other jocks and cheerleaders.

Jordan glanced over my table and shot me a sad smile. After Caleb and Liam's fight, I had given Liam and I another go, I had been distant with them as well. I still talk to Jordan, Dylan and Nick but not so much with Caleb.

Alayna and Damon had started going out. Who knew. Milly and Molly had been even more distant with Alayna.

I still don't know why Dylan and Alayna had broken up and its been bugging me ever since I found out.

"Lexa baby, are you okay?" Liam asked, placing his hand on my thigh from underneath the table. He had been extra gentle and caring for me after he saw my bruise that had now heeled.

"Yeah." I muttered, picking at my pasta. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and sighed loudly. After a lot of thinking over the past couple weeks I came to a conclusion that it was Alayna who had screamed before the accident had taken place. I know it's wrong for me to make false assumptions but I couldn't help it. Who else would do that? And wasn't it suspicious how she got out of the car and then the accident happened. She didn't even enter the library.

"Okay, what is it?" Liam asked, dropping his fork and turning his attention towards me.

"What's what?" I asked, acting oblivious. He's been eyeing me for a while now. I've been extra quiet today.

"What's been on your mind?" He grabbed my hand, "Come on Lexa, you can tell me, I'm your boyfriend, you're suppose to be telling me these things."

He never even asked me to be his girlfriend so I don't know what he was on about but I remained quiet anyway.

"Lexa." He mumbled, his tone one of warning.

"I don't need to tell you everything Liam." I muttered, shoving a fork full of pasta in my mouth and chewing slowly.

He squeezed my hand tightly. "Well, I don't like the fact that you're being so quiet so can you at least talk!" He spat out angrily.

I shot him a look full of disbelief. This bitch.

"What are you going to do? Hit me?!" I yelled.

His eyes widened and his jaw fell slack. His eyes then narrowed in warning.

"I dare you."

People had stopped what they were doing and started staring at us with wide eyes.

"Now look what you've done! People are staring!" He hissed quietly.

"Yeah, so what if they stare? Are you scared to hit me in front of them? Are you going to be a pussy now that everyone's looking?!" I exclaimed.

I was overreacting, I know I was. But I needed to take my anger out on someone. These past few weeks was like something was building inside of me and it needed to explode. It was the adrenaline craving, I know it was.

I didn't even realise what was happening until I felt a hard slap across my face. Everyone was stunned to silence. Liam was glaring daggers, and if looks could kill.

I lunged for him. My hand gripped around his neck to the point where I was choking him. I threw a punch on his stomach, watching in aggravation as he groaned out loud. I didn't give him a chance to recover as I pushed him of the chair and kicked him where the sun don't shine.

"You bastard, how dare you fucking touch her?!" Another voice yelled. The person jumped onto Liam and threw constant punches onto his face.

It was Caleb. His face was masked venomous and anger was etched onto every detail of his perfect features. I pulled him off of Liam. This was my fight. He shouldn't interfere.
