I was broken out of my slumber when I felt a hard yet light punch on my arm. If that even made sense. My eyes snapped open and I was greeted with Jordan's concentrated face.
"Seventeen." He counted, throwing another hard yet light punch. "Fuck! I think I punched too hard!" He whisper/yelled.
"Eighteen." He finished, throwing the last punch. Or so I thought.
"One for good luck." Punch. "One for getting married." Punch. "One for having kids." Punch. "One for naming your kid after me." Punch. "One for not getting sexually harassed by Donald Trump." Pun-
"Enough!" I groaned, gripping onto his fist.
"Fuck! Did I punch you too hard?! I tried to do it lightly but-"
I cut him off. "No, you're good. You just got a little carried away with your punches."
His lips formed an adorable 'o' causing me to chuckle. "Who let you in?"
"Your dad, I might have woken him up from sleep and- Oh! I almost forgot!" He laughed. "Happy birthday bestie!"
He jumped onto my back, causing me to groan in pain. He quickly got up. "Sorry."
I shook my head. "Your present." He handed me a bag. I sat up into a sitting position, taking the bag from him.
I sighed. "I told you not to."
He snorted. "And you thought I wouldn't? Please! Keep it whale."
I rolled my eyes but grinned anyway. Opening the gift bag, I reached in. I pulled out a velvet box. I pulled the box open and let out something in between a gasp and a squeal.
It was two bracelets. One was rose gold that had half a handcuff which read 'best' and the other was a silver bracelet that had the other end of the handcuff which read 'friend.'
"This one is yours." He picked up the rose gold bracelet and wrapped it around my wrist before attaching it together.
"And this one is yours." I finished, grabbing the silver bracelet and doing the same thing.
"We can put the handcuffs together like this." He picked the tiny half handcuff up from his bracelet and grabbed my hand before attaching my half handcuff to make a whole one. The half rose gold and half silver was a great complexion and it shone under the sun that was passing through my bedroom window.
"Perfect." I whispered, feeling my heart warm up.
He grinned, pulling his hand away. "I wanted to be the first one that gave you your birthday beats and present."
"It's better than Nick and Dylan's present, trust me." He whispered the last part.
My eyebrow raised. "Are they here?" I asked to which he nodded to. "Downstairs, get ready and we're taking you to school." I grinned, jumping up and walking into my bathroom.
I've never woken up so gracefully in my life before.
I took off my bracelet and took a quick shower. After exiting the shower, I wore my bracelet again and brushed my teeth. I walked into my bedroom and into my walk-in-closet to pick out my outfit. I picked out a nude pink lacy top and a black skirt. I tucked my top into my skirt, making it look like a dress before grabbing pumps that were the same colour as my top. I grabbed a black jacket in case it gets chilly and glanced at the mirror. Satisfied with my appearance, I walked back into my room to do my makeup.
I applied a winged eyeliner before coating my lashes with some mascara. I applied a layer of nude pink lipstick and grabbed my phone and keys before making my way down the stairs.
