POV from Austin

I guess because I had the bigger house and I was alone, Dan and Alex decided on my house for breakfast.

Alex showed up late while Dan was on time. As usual.

"How was your night?" I asked as Dan leaned down to scratch Coco behind her ears.

"It was pretty fun." Dan said with a smirk. "How about yourself?"

"TrueLife had a new episode." I sighed, biting into the flesh of my thumb watching wearily as Coco whined. Dan smiled and stood up, rubbing his head.

"You want me to cook today, Carlile?" he offered. I chuckled.

"Yes, please."

Dan laughed as my doorbell rang. Alex walked in and waved to me. Instantly, Felinus skittered down the stairs and attached himself to Alex. "Awe." Alex chuckled, leaning down to pet Linus. I rolled my eyes.

"He likes you more than me." I sighed. Alex was about to make a dirty joke when my landline rang. I rolled my eyes and walked to the telephone.

"Dr. Carlile speaking, how may I help you?" I asked as Alex and Dan snickered at how formal I was being."

"Austin? I-it's Oli."

My eyebrows shot up and I glared at Alex. "Oliver." I said as Alex's eyes widened. "Do you want to talk to Dr. Gaskarth?"

"No!" Oli exclaimed. "I uh-I mean, no thank you."

"How did you call me?" I questioned. "I thought your therapy session was around this time?" We always tried to schedule Oli and Josh's therapy sessions at the same time so they wouldn't have to be without each other for long.

"I'm calling from Dr. Arteaga's phone." Oli admitted. "I stole it."

"Oliver Sykes!" I scolded. "You need to return this phone immediately-"

"I'm calling because of Alan Ashby." He snapped angrily, annoyed that I was trying to 'tsk' him. "He won't leave his bed and he's been sobbing for ages."

"Do you know why?" I asked. Oli sighed.

"No. But I need-I don't do well with tears-"

"Well, his nurse, Mr. Garland should be able to help him out, right?" I questioned. Oliver was about to respond when he was interrupted by someone taking the phone from him.

"Dr. Carlile!" shouted Josh, making me cringe.

"Fu-Godda-Joshua James Alphonse Franceschi! You do not need to shout on the telephone. I can hear you just fine." I stuttered gently. Josh sighed.

"Sorry, Dr. Carlile. It's just-I'm worried about Alan as well. He's so sad. And gloomy. I offered him Whiskers, but he said no." I smiled at the thought of Josh holding out his stuffed animal bunny as an offering to Alan.

"Josh," I said gently, "do you know why Alan is upset?"

Josh was silent for a moment, then he sighed. "I think he got into a fight with his nurse. I heard rumors about him punching someone-" He was cut off by a loud bang and he shrieked and scattered, dropping the phone in the process.

"Dammit." snapped a voice, whom I  recognized.

"Chris!" I shouted. The person answered the phone.

"Oh, hey." He said into the phone.

"Chris, what did I miss while I was gone?" I asked as Dan started up the stove.
