Jay's POV

"Mom! Why do I have to go to China to finish high school?"

"It's for your own good sweetie!"

"Don't sweetie me! I love Zach! I know that's the reason you're making me go!"

"Okay, fine! He is the reason! Because of him your grades are dropping! You will finish school in a boarding school at China! Your flight leaves tomorrow!"

"You've got to be kidding me! I can't believe this! I-"

"Go pack your things Jessica! It's to late!"

"Mom! I can't believe you would rather be alone in this house until I'm done with school and have your one and only daughter hate you than let me have one B in English and for me to be happy!"

"Jessica Smith! I will not stand for you to talk to me that way! Go pack your things! If you had never loved Zach then this wouldn't happen!"

"Too bad! I love Zach and I always will!"

My mom lowered her voice trying to calm herself down. In a nice, calm voice she said, "Jay, love is an evil thing! The world would be better off if it didn't exist."

"How can you say that? You loved Dad! Your parents loved each other and without love, no one would be here!" I screamed than ran upstairs sobbing my eyes out.

I called my boyfriend Zach to tell him.

"Hello. Jay. I ave something to tell you," he said.

"I need to tell you something too!" I sobbed.

"Okay, you first babe!"

"My mom is forcing me to go to a boarding school in China so that I will never see you again so that my grades will raise."

"Jay! No! My mom is also doing that! She's moving me to a boarding school in England!"

I sobbed into the phone.

"What if we never see each other again Zach?"

There was no talking while I cried and he sat in silence.

"Jay, you're my baby! I will always love you! We can visit each other during summer! we will always know each other! After all our moms live in the same town!"

"Not for long! My mom thought of that! She's moving to a different city! She's moving out of Abilene, Tx! She's moving to a bigger town with more people just to make sure we won't see each other!"

"Jay! We can meet halfway! Just grab the keys and go!"

"Can we meet up tonight? Somewhere?" I asked.

"Anywhere! Meet me at the movie theater at 10."

"Okay baby! Zach?"

"Yes blue bird?"

"I love you!"

"I love you too!"

"Jay!" Yelled my tyrannical mom. "If you're talking to that boy again I swear!"

"I'm not!" I yelled at her.

I walked into the bathroom. My eyes were all red and puffy. I splashed some cold water on my face. Oops, I forgot I had makeup on.

I washed my face and starred into the mirror. My dark brown eyes starred at my freckles and dark brown curly hair. I was skinny, but healthy.

I brushed my hair and put it into a side braid to keep it out of my face and redid my makeup.

My clothes were bothering me so I changed into a blue and white flannel and some jeans with boots.

How much of my clothes could I pack?

"Jay you can bring 3 suitcases onto the plane." My mom shouted from downstairs.

"K!" I shouted back.

I packed my favorite clothes into the first two and a half bags. I put my toiletries into the rest if the bag. In my purse I put memories of all my friends, my dad, my stupid mom who I did love, and my pup, Sparky.

I wouldn't get to see my pup or my mom until summer! My friends? Might as well forget about them! When my mom moves that'll be the last chance I'll get have to see them! My dad died in a car crash when I was 7. He left me a ring my grandma wore everyday until she died and the fact that he'd always be there for me.

You might think I'm crazy, but sometimes I talk to my dad when I'm all alone. I'll walk along the creek behind out house and talk to him. My dad taught me to fish, swim, and about Jesus along that creek. I loved him!

"Dad," I started. "If you're listening, I need you! First I lost you! Now I'm losing my mom, my dog, my friends, and my home! There's too many memories here Dada! Please talk some sense into momma!" I started crying. I held one of the pictures I had of him in my hand.

A tear fell onto it. It fell onto his tall figure that was holding me in his arms. I was so little and different. My brown hair was chin length and I was so chubby! I had a tooth gap in between my front teeth, I couldn't help but smile. My dad had brown hair like me. He had green eyes and no freckles, we looked a lot alike.

I shoved the picture in my purse and stacked everything by the door.

9:30

My mom was asleep and so I snuck out my window and ran to the movie theater that was about a mile away.

When I got there, Zach was sitting on a bench looking around.

"Zach!" I said running to him.

"Jay!" He opened his arms and I ran into them.

He wrapped my in a hug and pressed his lips into mine. We kissed.

Zach was hotter than the sun!

He was muscular and tan. He had blue eyes and almost black hair. He had very chiseled features and was a few inches taller than me.

We hugged for what seemed like forever.

"Zach! I love you!"

"I love you too Jay!"

"I can't believe I won't see this place ever again!" I sighed looking around.

"Someday you will! Just like we'll be together again someday!"

We pressed our lips again one another's and kissed passionately. I never wanted it to end! I felt like this is the last time I would ever kiss him! Him, my one true love!

When we stopped it was 10:30. We went home and left each other for the last time!
