Chapter 15

Jeremy's POV

We've been planning our wedding for about a month now. We have most of it planned. We're even inviting Jay.

The weird thing is... When we spoke to the school, they said Jay never came. Her mom is furious now!

I got her something to do long distance calls. At the moment she's calling her.

"Jay, hello?"

"Mom?"

Jay's POV

"Mom?" I asked. Crap!

"Jay, where are you? The school said you never came!"

"I'm... I'm in England mom."

"What? How did this happen?"

"Wrong plane."

"Oh well, we're bringing you home anyway."

"What? Why?"

"Honey, I miss you! And also, I'm getting married!"

"I thought love was evil!"

"No, honey I never said that."

"Then why did you send me to China?!"

"You're in England!"

"You sent me to boarding school because 'love is evil!'"

"I was wrong, Jay! I'm sorry. But you're coming home!"

"No, I love it here!"

"Why?"

"I have friends, and freedom, and Zach!"

"What? Zach's there?"

"Yes! And I'm happy!"

"So, you're just going to stay there? Ditch my wedding! Leave your pregnant mother here? Alone!"

"What did you just say?"

"I'm pregnant. You're going to have a little sister. Her name is Cheyenne."

"Mom!"

"You're coming home!"

She hung up on me.

Ugh! I slammed my phone down on the counter.

"Jay, are you alright?" Haley asked. I was at work.

"My mom is pregnant! And not married!"

"After all the crap about sending you here because love us evil?"

"Yes!"

"I'll cover your shift. Go blow off some steam."

"Thanks."

I walked to the radio store.

"Hope, Marrie, come one!"

"Where are we going?" Hope asked.

"To get my ears pierced."

"Cool."

I explained everything to them in the car ride.

"How can I help you ladies?" The man behind the counter asked.

"I'm getting my ears pierced," I said.

"I'll get my belly button pierced," Hope said.

"And a new tat for me," Marie asked.

I got two earlobe piercings on both ears and a cartilage piercing on one.

Marie got a music note behind her ear.

Satisfied, we left and went home. I told Zach all about my mom as we cuddled on the couch.

Jeany was at her new friend's house. We had the house to ourselves. Hope, Marie, Justin, and Dustin we out all night doing something with their families.

"Well, what are you going to do?"

"I don't know, Zach!"

"So, either miss your mom's wedding and stay with me and your friends here in England, or go be with your mom in her time of need and leave me."

"It is not a time of need. She's just getting married," I said rolling my eyes.

"And pregnant."

"Zach."

"It's a hard choice."

"I know!"

"I'm mad at her, and I love it here! I get you, freedom, and my new friends!"

"But she's your mom."

"Are you trying to convince me to leave you?"

"Jay, I love you. But she's your mom. Who's carrying your new sister."

"So what should I do?"

"I think you should go to her."

"But what if I don't ever see you again? She'd never let me come back here!"

"I'll always love you Jay. We can stay in touch. I'll save up the money and fly out there if you don't come back."

"I love you!" I said crying.

He pulled me closer and kissed me.

That night was full if tears and crying.

The next morning I texted my mom and told her I was coming. She seemed happy, but I wasn't.

Zach said that he had errands to run, so I spent the day with my friends. You know, eating ice-cream and crying.

"We'll miss you so much!" Haley sobbed.

"I know! I've made so many friends here!"

"We'll miss you!" Hope said. They wrapped me in a group hug.

"When's your flight?" Marie asked.

"This Friday."

"But today's Wednesday!" Hope said.

I nodded. We fell asleep before the boys got home. We were already in our pj's on blankets on the floor, so... Good night.
