Jay's POV

Beep

Beep

Beep

My alarm was going off. I had to get to work. I hit snooze and went back to bed.

---------------

5 mins later

Okay, now I had to wake up. I crawled out of my cozy bed and went to the bathroom.

I took a quick shower and put my hair in a messy bun. I applied my makeup and brushed my teeth.

I walked back to my room. Yikes! I had ten minutes until I have to leave!

I grabbed some skinny jeans, and a pink long sleeved, scoop neck shirt.

I grabbed some white high top converse and grabbed my purse. I ran out of the house.

I went to a coffee store and got me and Haley some coffee. (Yes, she runs a bakery, no, she doesn't sell coffee)

I sprinted to the bakery.

"Hey, sorry I'm late!" I said as I walked in.

"Oh, don't worry about it! You're a only two minutes late, no biggy!"

"Oh, good, I brought you some coffee."

"Oh, thank you so much Jay! Let's get this place ready!"

I washed the windows and cleaned the tables while she made sure that there was enough "goodies" as she calls them.

A girl about 16 was mopping the floor. She had short pink hair and was pale.

"Hey, I'm Jamine!" She said.

(Jay-meen)

"Hi, I'm Jay!"

"Cool, so, you're new. I'm Haley's friend, since kindergarten actually, and my crush is the baker. His sister is also the baker. It's funny because their last name is Baker."

"That's cool!" I laughed. "I just moved here with my boyfriend from America."

"Awesome!" She said.

-------------

Finally the store opened. It was slow at first but then it got pretty busy.

I boxed the "goodies" and cleaned the tables.

Haley worked as hostess and worked the cash register.

Jamine cleaned the tables and washed the floors.

It was pretty cool until I saw a familiar face. It was Jessie.

Jessie was a girl who hates me in middle school a few years ago. I didn't do anything to her, but she hated me! She said my dad died because of me and told everyone I was mentally retarded. I wasn't though.

No one believed her because I was nice to everyone and everyone knew my name. But still!

I hoped she didn't recognize me! I had changed a lot since middle school when she left. I didn't have braces anymore, and my hair got curly. I got a figure. Please don't recognize me.

"Hi, may I please have some macaroons and a hot tea?"

I nodded.

"How many macaroons?" I asked.

"Um, half a dozen, the strawberry ones please!"

"Okay," I put some in a box and handed them to Haley and got the tea.

I handed that to Haley as well as Jessie payed.

She sat at one of the tables. Just leave already!

"Hey, Jay, what's wrong?" Haley asked. "You haven't been acting like this all day!"

"I used to go to school with her, she hated me!"

"She did?" Haley whispered.

"Yeah."

"Hey, don't I know you?" Jessie asked me.

"Um, I don't think so," I said.

"Oh, you look like this one retard from my old middle school, she was so stupid! Everyone liked her and judged my for calling her a retard, that's why I moved here!"

"Oh, okay then," I said.

"Yeah, oh well, that's the past. Toodles!" She said.

----------------

When the store finally closed, I couldn't wait to get back to the house!

My hair was in a mess, my feet hurt from standing so much, I was tired and hungry, I got an hour for lunch but that was at 12. It was 5 now.

I made my way to the house. I knocked on the door, no answer, so I called Zach.

"Babe? Where are you?" I asked

"Still at work, we're closing up, be home in like an hour."

"Mind if I walk over? I don't have a key to the house."

"Sure."

"K, bye."

I walked over to the store, my feet were KILLING ME!

A teenage boy drive by and honked at me. He rolled down the window and whistled.

"Hey baby!" He said. "Want a ride?"

I ignored him and continued walking, the store was only a block away.

"Hey now, don't ignore me!" He said

I kept walking, almost their. Then I felt arms wrap around my waist and a hand cup my mouth. I tried to scream for help, but it was no use!

I was being forced into the car!

Then a guy I know I've seen before punched the guy in the face. He let go of me and threw me to the ground.

My savior punched the guy again who eventually got in the car and drove away.

"Are you okay?" He said. It sounded like a far off whisper. I felt my eye lids shutting as he picked me up.

"Jay, stay with me!"

"How do you know my name?" I squeaked out.

"It's me Clive, we met at the park last night. Do you remember?"

I smiled as I felt my eyes shutting, I fought to keep them open, but I just couldn't.

The last thing I remember is seeing him scream for help, I couldn't hear him though. Then I was out cold.
