Zach's POV
I woke up that morning at 7:20.
My baby sister's flight was going to be here in an hour. Thirty minutes to get there. That left us the about twenty- five minutes to get ready.
I brushed my teeth, hair and washed my face. I got dressed and headed to Jay's room.
I knocked on the door.
"Come in," she whispered.
"Jay, almost ready?"
"Yeah. Just a second."
She grabbed her converse and purse and we snuck out the door.
We hopped in Hope's car and took off to the airport.
------------
When we got there she was standing with an older lady.
"Jeany?" I said.
"Zach!" she yelled.
The old lady walked her over to us.
"Hello, are you Zach?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Okay. May I see your ID?"
I showed her and she introduced herself.
"I'm Margery. I've been watching your sister for a few days. When you come back to the states, call me."
"Okay, thank you Margery."
Jeany had slings on her shoulders. My mom was evil.
"I'm so happy to see you Jeany!"
"Zach! I missed you! I thought Jay was in China!"
"We were on the same plane. She decided to come with me here."
"Yay!" She said.
She walked over to Jay and hugged her.
"Hey lil one. Where's your stuff?"
"I left it at home."
"Why?"
"Because the policemen rushed me too the hospital and to Margery's house before I could get it."
"Oh. Well that means we get to go shopping," Jay said smiling at her.
"Uh huh. I got lots of mom's money from the policemen."
"That's awesome!" I said. Yes!
"Ready to go back to the house?" Jay asked.

Jay's POV
We drove back to the house talking about back home.
Back in that small, small town. Where all my friends were. Where my mom, and dog probably weren't.
It had been at least two months since we arrived.
"So, is my mom still, you know, has she moved?"
"No, she's staying. But she did meet this one guy."
"What?"
"Yeah. He seems really nice. He's a city boy though. Moved here from New York or some place like that."
"Does she love him?"
"Uh huh."
"Does he love her?"
"Yup."
I can't believe this! After yelling at me and warning me that love was an evil thing, she goes and falls in love!
"Guess what?"
"Hmm?"
"He proposed. And she said yes!"
Zach stopped the car.
"What?" Zach and I asked at the same time.
"Yeah. They're getting married this summer!"
"But, but, I've never even met him!" I said. I couldn't believe this! My eyes started to water.
Zach started moving the car again.
"I'm sorry," Jeany said.
"It's not your fault," I said faking a smile.
We drove the rest of the way in silence.
