Chapter Eleven

- Ambers POV -

"Please don't touch my hands" I said quietly standing up, I walked to the window and looked out. He stood up and watched me.

"I have a feeling there's something.. different about you" he said looking straight at me, I kept my eyes on the window and gulped.

"No.." I said looking around me, he tilted his head.

"I still have my suspicions" he said walking away from me, he looked in the mirror at himself.

"Do you ever get.. Scared?" I said jumping down from the window, he stopped what he was doing and turned his head to me.

"Not really, well I was a few nights ago- I mean, uh never mind" he said quickly, I scratched my head.

"Uh.. Ok??" I said sitting on my bed.

"Amber darling!" I heard my mum shout, crap.. She was coming up the stairs.

"Josh you need to hide in the cupboard NOW!" I shouted, I tried to push him but he refused.

"No, I'm not going in the cupboard what do you think this is?!" He said in an angry tone, I started to beg but it was no use.

"Amber, can I come in?" Said the voice at the other side of the door, I gulped and grabbed onto Josh's arm.

"Why are you so afraid Amber.." He whispered, I looked at him as I shook with fear.

"Amber?" She said again, I panicked.

"Uh one minute!" I shouted.

"Please hide she is going to kill you!!" I said quietly, his eyes widened. I tried to push him again but he was too strong for me.

"Amber?.." My mum said once again, but this time she wasn't at the door.. She was behind me.

"Who the fuck is this!!" She screamed, I pushed Josh towards the wall while still holding onto his arm.

- Josh's POV -

I really had no idea what was going on, but I seen a lot of anger in Amber's mums eyes, and I couldn't feel my arm because Amber was gripping it so hard.

"Who are you young boy! Get away from my daughter!!" She screamed louder while stepping closer to us, Amber stood in front of me.. Like she was protecting me?

"What are you doing Amber he is going to take you, and kill you!!" She shouted.

"I would never do that.." I said under my breath. Suddenly she threw Amber out of the way and grabbed me by the throat. I was going dizzy and could hear Amber screaming.

"GET OFF HIM!" I heard her shout, and suddenly Amber's mum flew across the room and hit the other wall! I almost started crying, until I realised Amber done it.. With her hands?

"How did you, when where" I said trying to get my breath back, Amber ran over to me while crying.

"I'm sorry I brought you here I'm sorry for everything" she said in tears, I couldn't speak properly but she was up again and behind Amber.

"A-Amber" I coughed up, she looked at me closely.

"B-behind you.."

She turned around quickly to see her mum peering over us, Amber put her hands out in front of her face and a giant bubble surrounded us, her mum was kicking and screaming at it but she couldn't burst it.

I thought I was dreaming, because I was almost unconscious.. Maybe I was?

- Ambers POV -

"STOP HURTING HIM" I screamed at my own mother, I was finally using my powers for good..

She left the room, which scared me.. Where was she going?

"Josh.." I whispered looking over at him, he was unconscious.

"Oh no oh no" I said with tears running down my pale face. The bubble was still surrounding us as I gently picked up Josh and closed my eyes.

"Heal heal heal" I said over and over, he began to glow.. I smiled.

"Amber!! No!!!" My mum screamed, she was holding a knife in her hand. Josh was still healing, she started to run towards him with the knife.

"Be a mummy's girl Amber.." She said in a calming voice, I screamed which made thunder hit the house and it shook. My mum lost balance and fell on to the floor, I picked up the knife and threw it into the corner.

I'd never kill my mother, no matter how much she bullies me..
