A Mystery

Chapter Thirty Seven

- Josh's POV -

After climbing up the ladder, I was on the roof of the factory building. I was extremely afraid of heights, so my head was spinning.

I made sure there was no guards watching me, or any on the roof then I looked at the tracker.

The screen showed a map of the building, and all the rooms inside. Amber was in the biggest room in the factory, it was on the second floor. There are four floors in the factory, which means it was going to be hard trying to get to her.

In the middle of the roof, there was a glass mirror. I walked over to it slowly and peeked in.

It looked like it was a useless room, with a few boxes in it. How am I gonna get in?

Just of thought, I began jumping on the glass.. Knowing it wouldn't work but I guess I was wrong. Suddenly the glass smashed and I flew into the room, landing flat on the ground.

I yelped in pain, my leg started to swell up and it was hard to walk on it.. I stood up slowly and looked around.

I didn't care that I was injured, Amber could be dead if I didn't hurry up. I looked at the tracker again, it showed outside the room I was in.. There was no one around.

I opened the door slowly and looked out, I limped out of the room and hid behind a plant that was sitting in the corridor. It was really hard to walk.

On the other side of the corridor was some stairs, but I knew that if I casually walked down them I would bump into someone.. And we didn't want that to happen.

I still had two more floors to try and get through without anyone seeing me, but it seemed that there wasn't many people walking around.

I got up from my hiding spot and walked slowly towards the stairs..
