- Josh's POV -
"W-what did you say?.." I questioned while turning away from the mirror.
"She's being took away, don't worry she can't hurt you anymore" Mike repeated, my eyes widened.
"Where is she going!?!" I shouted, Mike looked at me confusingly.
"Wow calm down Josh"
I limped towards the door, my leg crippling at each step.
"Take your time Josh you'll hurt yourself!" Mike said forcefully, I walked on.
I headed for the front door.
"Where are you going? you're not leaving this house Josh you're a mess" Mike said pushing me towards the stairs.
"Now go get some rest"
I looked up at him in anger, I need my best friend.
"Josh here!" Katie said behind me, she gave me her snowman teddy bear.
"Chilly will keep you safe" She said happily, I smiled and climbed up the stairs.
The sky was pitch black, it was usually filled with the twinkling stars. I hung out my window sighing, I could see my breath.
But wait, it's the summer.. Why is it so cold?
I closed the window quickly while shivering, what am I going to do?
My bedroom door knocked and opened slowly, it was Mike.
"Yes?" I said looking up at him.
"What're you doing?.." He said sitting at the edge of my bed, I shrugged.
"I-I'm going to sleep"
"Ok well, good night" He said leaving quickly, I rolled my eyes and turned off the light. Still watching for any stars to appear in the spooky dark sky.
- Roses POV -
"So daddy, are your men coming tomorrow?" I said jumping onto his lap, he nodded.
"Yes sweetie, you can tell your friend that he will be safe"
I ran out of the room and upstairs to my bedroom. I looked out the window and across to Josh's home. His curtains were closed.
"I'll tell him tomorrow" I said to myself
