Strong (Zerrie FanFiction)

Chapter 2

Perrie's Pov

    We were on our way to the interview. We had just gotten into the Limo that was taking us to the building. All I knew about the interview was that we had another group that was being interviewed with us at the same time. We were going to be at the building in 15 minutes, so I might as well go on my phone in the meantime. Along the way, I saw some fans so I scrolled the window down and waved. Jesy also waved back at them. Jade and Leigh-Ann were asleep, apparently Leigh-Ann was tired from my 'sleep attack' and Jade, well Jade is always tired. 

    The driver turned on the radio and our song 'Wings' played. Me and Jesy were jamming out and singing all our parts. I was surprised that Leigh-Ann and Jade were still asleep. By the time we got there, Jade and Leigh-Ann were already awake. We exited the car and entered. There were a lot of fans there, it was either ours or the group that we were being interviewed with. We walked to the front desk.

"Excuse me, were is the interview being held at." I asked politely.

"The Little Mix and The One Direction interview?" the lady asked.

"Wait, we are being interviewed with One Direction?" I aksed. 

"Yes you are, the interview will be held at floor number 6, second room to the right." the lady said.

"Ok, thanks" Jade said. 

    I knew that this would be awkward. I hope that the interviewer won't ask any questions about Zayn's crush on me. The truth is, I had a little crush on him... but I wanted to focus on my career. My career is more important than a relationship. It would be nice to have a boyfriend though..... 

    We headed towards the elevator. I pressed 6 and we headed up. I looked for the second room to the right. This building was pretty big and you could easily get lost. Luckily, the door had said 'Little Mix and One Direction Interview' on it. (Obviously on paper.) Jesy knocked on the door and a lady with thick-rimmed glasses opened it. She was wearing a gray-lined pantsuit. She had her dirty blond hair in a bun.

"Ahhh, you must be Little Mix. I am Lucy, your interviewer. Come in, I have arranged a seating chart." she said, handing me a chart. 

-Liam, Louis, Harry, Niall, Zayn, me, Jesy, Jade, Leigh Ann-

    Great, I am sitting next to Zayn. I think Lucy did this on purpose. I entered the room and went to my seat. The boys' were already there. I waved at them. The girls' took their seats. Lucy sat across from all of us. 

"Okay, the cameraman are going to arrive any minute" Lucy said.

    We all nodded. Then the cameramen came. I straightened my dress along with the other girls. The boys fluffed out their hair. 

"Okay, airing in 3,2,1" Lucy said. "Hello there, I have two very special bands here today in the studio. Little Mix and One Direction" 

"Hi" we all said in unison.

"Okay, introduce yourself in order, starting from the left side." Lucy said. 

<The left side is starting with Liam>

"Hello, I'm Liam"

"Hello, I'm Louis"

"Hi there, I'm Harry" 

"Hey, I'm Niall"

"Hi, I'm Zayn"

"Hello, I'm Perrie" 

"Hi there, I'm Jesy"

"Hi, I'm Jade"

"Hello, I'm Leigh-Ann" 

"Wow, what a large group" Lucy said. 

    Lucy had asked questions about the X-Factor and our careers. I actually thought that she wasn't going to say anything about me and Zayn, but I thought wrong.

"So, I have one more question. Zayn and Perrie, there had been rumors that you guys are dating and in one of the interviews, Zayn said that he fancied Perrie. Give me some details." she said, leaning in and hoping to hear something juicy. 

    The girls were all nudging me and the boys all had smirks our their faces. Zayn must've been pretty embarassed. 

"Well....." I began.

"We're not dating" Zayn finished. 

    I was actually kinda hurt. I know that we were not dating or anything but he just blurted it out. Lucy seemed to get the hint that we didn't want to talk about it, so she closed off the interview. The cameraman all rolled out.

"Nice meeting you guys" Lucy said, shaking the guys' hands and hugging us girls. 

"You too" I said. 

    Everyone all left the room and it was only me and Zayn. I started to head out, but Zayn grabbed my wrist.

"Hi there Zayn" I said, yanking my wrist away.

"Hi Perrie, sorry about that" he said, looking down.

"May I help you?" I asked, he chuckled.

"Yea, I was wondering... if you would like to go out, like on a date?" he said, making direct eye contact.

"Oh... that would be lovely." I said.

"Oh, ok, I'll text you the details. May I have your phone number?" he asked. 

"Sure" I said.

    We exchanged our numbers and we headed out. All the boys' and all the girls' were waiting outside the door. They all had smirks on their faces.

"What took you so long Perrie Louis Edwards?" Jesy said, her arms crossed. 

    I walked towards her and playfully nudged her. She just let out a soft chuckle. We all walked towards the door. Me and the girls' headed towards our Limo. I waved good-bye to the boys' and went inside. During the car ride, the girls were all pushy and were asking me what Zayn wanted. I just told them that they had to wait, and that I would tell them later. I didn't want to tell them when we were still in the Limo, they would all be shrieking and I don't want the driver to get all mad. That had happened before, when we were on our way to a dinner reservation with Simon, we were all jumpy and were all shrieking and everything when we found out that we were sheduled to perform at an Award show. We were really loud, and all I can say is that the driver was pissed off. Never Again!
