Chapter 11: No drama? Yeah right, this group is Total Drama Island
Yeah right, like lunch would go off without a hitch.
"What do you mean, Dylan? What the fuck are you talking about?" I basically yell.
"I can't tell you, T. At least not yet."
"Stop being so fucking ambiguous, Crow. Answer the damn question." I'm not going to let him get away with this. He's trying to mess with my head, and it's working.
"He doesn't have to do anything you say, Forbes-"
"Put a sock in it, London. You have nothing to do with this, this is between me and Dylan."
"Lets not do this here, Trinket. Let's go somewhere." Yeah, that's probably a good idea since almost the whole cafeteria has quieted down. Him and I move towards the doors, as we were already standing, and the rest of the Vultures stand and follow after. I can't believe him, now is not the time for more secrets, especially when he keeps hinting at them. After what he just implied, I need to punch something. Can you believe him? I should rip him apart, put him back together, and then put him down the fucking garbage disposal, but not before I- you know what? Let me back up.
Fifteen minutes earlier...yeah, that's it.
"Ditto," I responded, going back to my lunch. She continued to stare, but I'm not giving in. I need to do this for myself.
"What did I miss?" Leighton asks while sitting down with her own food.
"Nothing," London replies, giving probably the fakest that I've ever seen. Maybe she's the one with the agenda.
"Not saying that I don't trust you Lon, because I do," she stresses before quickly Turning to me," but what happened, Trinket?"
"Just the same old bickering. Nothing new. Apparently I'm here for some master plan though."
"London, stop with that. I know why she's here and-"
"Then tell me why she is, if you know."
"That's not my place to tell." Both of them then stare and look at me, but I'm not going to say a word. Because you know what's more embarrassing than him finding out that I've been an outcast since he left? Him finding out that I became a Vulture so that...well, so he could suck it. And I don't trust London not to rat me out.
"I'm here because I just need some friends at the moment, and Leighton and Dylan were both kind enough to have my back," I tell her. I mean, it's technically the truth.
"Yes, but why do you need friends?" She presses.
"Because of a guy. Can you understand now, London? Just have a girls back?" She looks at me for a long moment, only slightly less menacingly, but finally drops it.
