Chapter 10: I don't know what to call this crap chapter so we'll call it EHK (heavy on the EH)
Kids start piling off of the bus as soon as we reach the school. Now usually I would be at the front of the big ol' blob of students, but this time I am doomed to the back, right smack in the middle of two Vultures, with Leighton in front of me and Dylan behind- with a hand on the low of my back. As we climb off I half expect for every kid in the school to stare but only about three people do, and half heartedly at that. Come on, this isn't a movie or book. *Readers stare off like they are in the Office.*
"Alright, I'm going to stop at my locker quickly, but you guys can head back to your own. London and Craig are probably there already," Leighton says when we start to walk into the school.
"Okay," Dylan replies before I have a chance, pulling me along by my hand. Jeez, what is up with him and touching me?
"Are you nervous?" Dylan asks while looking over at me, still holding my hand.
"Nah, not really. Mostly just dreading the headache and agitation that I know has yet to come."
That makes him chuckle and squeeze my hand, most likely for reassurance. But still, what the hell do I know? Not much, as you've seen so far.

"So I was like, where do you get off? And he was like, on pics of your mom."
"Oh shit..."
"I know right? So I was like-"
"Talking about Xavier, Lon?" Dylan interrupts when going to his locker. Leighton was right, Craig and London were here already once we finally reached, and they were just standing around talking. Interesting conversation, though.
"Yes, he's all up my ass again. I can't believe that I ever liked him."
"Liked him, London you were practically in love with him."
"Oh I was not, I just-"
"So, you finally admitted that you like us, huh?" Craig asks, blocking out the other two's conversation.
"Nope, just realized that I like you more than a certain someone," I respond, finally moving to unlock my own locker.
"At least that's something." I ignore him and pull out my things for my next two classes. When I turn around though, I discover that London and Dylan's conversation finished, giving her an opportunity to notice me.
"You know, when I got a text last night saying that we were 'initiating' you today, I thought that someone hacked it. I guess that anything is possible, though."
"Nice to see you too, London." Don't look at me like that, I told Leighton that I would try.
"Wow, I guess trash can learn manners."
