There's This Guy. He Lives In My Room. Oh, Yeah, And He's A Ghost.
Chapter 27
Taylor's POV
I watch Finn run out of the room, that damned carrier bag, and my heart jumps in my throat.
I jump up, but , Miles is faster.
He's moving so fast that he practically flies out of the room behind Finn.
I follow.
I fall out of the front door, and look around frantically, trying to see where they've gone.
I finally spot Miles' shine of hair.
He's not that far behind Finn, and is gaining speed.
They turn left round a corner, but instead of following, I stop, because i've seen something.
It's a side ally, a short cut to the Londen Eye, one that i had spotted earlier.
Finn had insisted on going there earlier, looking around, even though we weren't going to go on it that day.
I know why now.
I speed down the ally, tripping over my feet, scuffing up my sneakers.
Still running, i glance at my watch.
12:00.
We have a half-hour.
I slow as i reach the attraction, trying to spot them once more.
But i spot someone else, instead.
A group of men, varying in ages, looking shifty, their gazes flitting around, as if they are looking for something. Someone.
It's them.
