Sorry I took a while posting, I had a bit of a brain-blank.

There's This Guy. He Lives In My Room. Oh, Yeah, And He's A Ghost.

Chapter 25

Taylor's POV

I open my mouth to say something, close it, then open it again, and this goes on as I struggle to speak.

"No!" I gasp, finally. "Finn... he wouldn't do that, would he?"

"Well, he obviously would," Miles replies grimly, otherwise I wouldn't be dead.

"But... no!"

"Yes, Taylor."

"But...but...I haven't seen a bomb!"

"Err, maybe because he his it?" Miles snorts. "Only an idiot would leave out a bomb in full view of anyone."

I'm silent as I'm thinking it over.

Miles sighs. "Has he been acting weird lately?"

He has, I know he has.

I nod, slowly.

"He's been real insistent on going, and... nervous, jumpy."

"That's because he knows he's going to die."

My head jerks up, surprised. "He's going to die?!"

Miles looks surprised. "Well, yeah. The bombs going to be on him."

Then something occurs to me. "Wait! I'm going with him. So... I would die too? He would let that happen?"

"I'm so sorry, sweetheart. But that's why I'm here. I'm not going to let you get hurt, I promise."

I don't answer.

Finn is my boyfriend, I thought he loved me? And all along he was planning to kill me? Okay, not me directly, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to die. He could have left me at home, gone on his own. He didn't have to kill me too. Is that all I mean to him?

Seeing the look of upset on my face, Miles starts to say something, but then stops as the door opens.

I turn, staring daggers at Finn.
