'I know.. I got this..' Asoka thought as she stumbled to her feet and shouted. "This duel.. HAD JUST BEGUN!!" Asoka said as she drew her card and flipped it into her view.

"....it's here." She said with a smile.

"Using Violet Poison Magician and Iris Magician; I set a Pendulum Scale" Asoka said as the two magicians flew up to their spots, a 1-8 scale.

"Go! Pendulum Shokan! Arise my army once more!" Asoka said as she called Odd-Eyes, Astrograph Sorcerer, and black fang Magician.

"Fool! I use moonlight to bounce odd-eyes back to your hand!" Takuma said as odd-eyes faded but she smiled. "Who said I needed him?"

"What?!" The crowd said as she pointed to violet poison Magician.

"His Pendulum effect! Upon releasing him, I can make one dark spellcaster gain 1200 ATK! Black Fang gains ATK, making him 2900!"

Asoka smirked as the crowd gasped. This new XYZ user, seemingly nobody, is about to beat a master of the blue eyes.

"Go! Black Fang! Treasonus Voltage cast!" She said as the magician charged his staff with black lightning and he shot the black rose dragon with the final 500 damage to seal Takuma's denial away.

"She... did it.." Joseph murmured as the light amount f dust settles and she stood wth a hand outstretched for Takuma. "Good game sir." She said as he asked her something. "How'd you.. get those cards... they're Zarc's deck..."

"Justas you have the number cards... they were printed." She said as Dean Ashiel came up with a coat, teal and somewhat short but not revealing with a small shoulder piece that was black.

"You show promise as a pendulum student with a bit of XYZ knowledge. Welcome to the Duel University." He said to his new freshman as Asoka took the coat and smiled as she nodded and held the coat with pride as the crowd cheered for the amazing and well worth it duel as the two boys, now clearly sophomores with their slightly longer coat and shoulder padding.

Soon, the hub began to transport the students into the new dimension, a pocket one, home to just the University. The students entered the portals and appeared on a dock in a pocket realm, where they boarded a boat. The boat ride was a good hour or two, leading to small friendships to form.

"And my two Knights Overlay!" Joseph said the second semester XYZ user played an XYZ monster on the table of the 4 person boat room. Him and Mike, sharing with Asoka and a missing 4th party, were testing one another as Asoka watched from above. "See man? Rank 4 Euroknights are the new best thing I got!"

"Euroknights are lame! It's all about these man!" Mike commented playing his 2nd turn start. "I special summon Bouldman Warrior! He can come out if you have a monster and I don't, then I call out Bouldman Cliffside"

Mike was a standard duelist, mastering in a sort of ritual deck and Mutual presence deck of rock monsters call the Bould Tribe, boulder warriors. "Now, joseph, i activate the ritual magic card 'Rock formation! This tributes my level 4 Cliffside and level 3 Warrior, to ritual summon the level 7 BouldLord Stonehenge! This guy's summon causes all monsters on the field to lose 1000 ATK, and if your monster's ATK is 0, it is destroyed. Next, he can attack all monsters on the field once each, as long as their levels are 7 or less. And with 2500 ATK, your 2200 Euroknight is nothing!"

Once the three of thembegan to approach campus, and were brought onto the central isle, Asoka seeing the campus for the first time. A central tower stood over with 5 pathways to a dorm for each just off from the main carved out area for the central tower. "SO... this is Duel University." Asoka mumbled as the boys stepped off with her. "yup. Your a pendulum user, so, you go to the Pendulum dorm. Your classes might focus on honing your XYZ skills since you have perfect pendulum skills." Joseph said as he showed her the main crossroads.

The crossroads have 6 paths branching, not counting the central one they came from. The 5 dorms, Pendulum, XYZ, standard/ritual, Synchro, and Fusion. She knew that pendulum was her home dorm. Upon breaking from the Standard/Ritual user Mike, and the XYZ user Joseph, Asoka went towards the Pendulum dorm, greeted by a statue of Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon on the front lawn.

Asoka went inside and was greeted by a junior, who had a somewhat longer coat with some slightly more pominant shoulder pads. "Newbie!" the boy said as he pointed at Asoka, who cocked an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

"Your new! New to the campus! Therefore, there must be a form of... 'hazing', so Pendulum duel!" the junior said as Asoka sighed and facepalmed. "Bye.." Asoka said bumping into a senior who looked at the scene before him. "JAckson.. why're you picking on the freshman?"

"A-Alfred!?" Jackson said falling back as Alfred smiled, having been fully equiped, a personalized Duel Gauntlet, long coat, gold shoulder pads, and a sigh. "Look Jackson.. leave. Your hazing habit is rubbish. If you wanna duel someone, the-"

"Duel me! I'm gonna beat you Alfred!" Jackson said arming his gauntlet, as Alfred chuckled. "Freshman.. whats your name?" He asked asoka to get her name, and a shy nod. "Asoka.. ok, this is how pendulum duelists duel and test one another." they say as the two go to the main lawn and armed themselves. Alfred's Duel Gauntlet folded out, two support beams unfolding and the main blade shooting out, unlike the general unfolding of Jackson's.

"Ready Senior?!" Jackson said drawing his opening hand.
"Very.." Alfred said with a shout.

"DUEL!!"
