"I'll Start!" Jackson said flashing his two cards of choice. "Using Abyss Actor - Evil Heel and Abyss Actor - Twinkle Littlestar; I set a 1-9 Pendulum Scale!" Jackson said as he played the fiend's nad saw their flight up, and a chainlink pendulum chain swung between them. "GO! Pendulum Shokan! Arise my beautiful monsters!" Jackson laughed at his dumb comment on his monsters, as the two monsters landed. "Abyss Actors Sassy Rookie and Twinkle Littlestar!"
"a pendulum summon of 2 level 4's.. impressive for a sophmore i suppose." Alfred said as Jackson set his final hand card. "This set card ends my turn!"
"MY TURN!" Alfred said drawing. "Using Scale 4 Performapal Splashmammoth and Scale 6 Lizardraw; I set a pendulum scale!" Alfred said, Performapals going to the top of their columns. Asoka watched from Alfred's side as he pointed at the pendulum monsters. "Lizardraws effect! I can destroy him to draw one card! Next, I activate the field magic; Sky Iris! I use it's effect to destroy Splashmammoth to add Performapal 'Odd-Eyes' Unicorn to my hand! I now set a new scale of Scale 2 Timebreaker Magician and scale 8 Odd-Eyes Unicorn!"
Jackson stared at his opponent practically go so positive in adding cards to hand and setting up a great pendulum summon! Alfred really is the senior rep of Pendulum dorm.
"Now; Pendulum Shokan! Arise my army!" Alfred said. The duel progressed, heavily in Alfred's favor from the beginning. Asoka watched in awe at both XYZ, Fusion, and a bit of Pendulum summoning. She smiled as they finished, Alfred's with with a triple attack with Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon proving victory with a 6000 point lead.
"See Jackson, you may be a junior but skills are like a Sophmore... a weak sophomore. Asoka here must atleast try, and NOT be hazed out. After all; I saw her duel to enter University" alfred said as Asoka smiled a bit and bowed from the 'compliment'.
"Thank you sir.." she said as Alfred put his deck away and retracted his gauntlet and walked back to his senior dorm. "See you in Class maybe" Alfred said as he walked and left the tired Jackson to sleep on the lawn.
Asoka knew class was a week away. Therefore, due to the one week to enroll, she rushed to the administration area to meet with an advisor. The only people she could get with was an XYZ professor or a Ritual professor. Naturally, having no 'need' for Ritual, she went for the Xyz professor.

"Ok so.. all freshman must take standard classes, then they go into one of the major branches their sophomore year. Since you came to me, you want XYZ summoning as a sophomore?" The advisor said as Asoka began to write down paperwork for her basics.
"I plan on learning fusion & XYZ, but I'll learn all I can!" Asoka said as the Advisor helped her in signing up. "Well. I can say this; you got the basics; but a single XYZ monster in your deck ain't enough. I recommend as many as possible. Since your deck is mostly level 4's, and mostly spell casters... maybe find something to assist your Spellcasters. We'll get to that next year for sure" the advisor said as she began to type in info and numbers for her enrollment.
Asoka then began to walk back to her dorm as the time chimed in at 6 on her gauntlet's display. She began to smile more. She was finally beginning to fulfill her dream; becoming a professional duelist. Nothing could stop her now!
