"Great seal of Atlantean Lord, Call the underworld's master of Dark sword. Transform from your red slender appearance to the one of devils for hellish destruction!! I activate The Seal of The Eternal!" Alex chanted as he flashed a red field spell, a crest similar to the Seal of Orichalcos but distorted and off center.
"The seal?! Alex don't!!" Joseph said as Alex threw the seal into play, the sky turned red, the ground shook as the red crest formed around Alex as the light shimmered up and engulfed Alex and Joseph, the duel's field turned hazy wth red and darkness. Joseph lowered his arm for brace and saw Alex's head have the small seal crest fork on his forehead as he raised his now devilish duel gauntlet, looking merged with his arm.
"This duel is mine Joseph." Alex said demonically as he laughed maniacally.
"The Seal of The Eternal?" Joseph said as he looked at the glowing pattern

"What does this thing do Alex?!" Joseph said as Alex explained then, "oh, by activating this, it allows an XYZ player to do more than before. By discarding monsters with a total level that's equal to, or higher, than an XYZ Monater on my field; I can Rank Up the targeted XYZ monster to that total rank! For example-"
"2 level 4's mean you can rank a rank 4 to a rank 8, or less... but what about materials?!" Joseph said as Alex pointed to Bahamut. "That's the material. So; I discard-"
Alex flashed two level 4's and discard them as the seal rotated and shook the earth. "Chaos unearth! Rank up Eternal Change! Come forth, Rank 7! Evolve from the chaos of Evil, Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon!"

"Odd-Eyes?!" Asoka said as she stood amongst the storm winds that blew and howled, the dragon roaring to life as it rested and blew Dark fire at the Satellarknight army. "Upon his XYZ summon, all Level 7 or lower monsters are destroyed and you take 100 damage each. Then, Rebellion can attack 3 times. That's 9000 damage to you Joseph." Alex said as the dragon expanded its spikes to wings and lunged towards her prey. "I-I.." Joseph mumbled before the blast.
"JOSEPH!!!" Asoka said seeing an Odd-Eyes monster that was deadly, unlike her own dragon who she saw as friendly and a companion. Joseph stood hunched over and coughed as the seal closed around him.
"Souls aren't taken from the defeated my sensei. Your will to duel is taken, causing one less duelist to exist and stand in our way." Alex said as Joseph's deck faded and he sighed as he fell over, onto his knees then facedown before Asoka and Mike ran to him as Alex vanished. "Joseph?? Come Asoka, we have to get him to the clinic!" Mike said as he took his shoulders and Asoka took his legs and they ran the limp boy to the clinic in the main building.
The two of them sat outside, Asoka had her head in her hands as she was shaking in fear, Mike sat foot tapping and he sighed nervously. "Oh what just happened?!" He said as Asoka said softly. "Joseph's gone... he's lost his... duel drive..." she said as Asoka shook her head to only be hugged by Mike, who said they'd get their revenge on Alex.
As the two plot their revenge, a kid, about the same age as Asoka, definitely same Grade, had Come down the hall and heard her words and went back to him. "Wel.. maybe I'll join in and help them out. These students could use some help." The student said as he stepped by and listened in a bit. He overheard a few minor things about the status of Jospeh, before he went to his dorm to conduct a plan to learn about these 'seals'.
"Hmm... seals that affect and help specific monsters... this Eternal one focuses on the XYZ monsters mostly, allowing for a Rank Up magic style ability... hmm" the student said as he read on the Seal of Orichalcos. "Ahhh..... i see a point of weakness" he mumbled to himself before the laptop computer. "While The seal has a protective effect, the Eternal one has no such thing. It has no negating or destruction halting effect! Just MST it... hmm" he said as he took his deck out; Synchron warriors being his deck.
"I assure you miss and mister, I'm gonna help you two free your friend of this ailment." He said nodding as he began to construct his deck to assist his allies to-be.
