"I'll start" Asoka said drawing her opening hand and playing a pendulum Scale of Violet Poison Magician and Black Fang Magician. She then Pendulum summoned Iris Magician and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, ending her turn with one card in hand.
"Hmm... go ahead Mike" Asoka said as Mike drew and nodded. "Because you control more monsters than I; I can normal summon Arisen Gaia the Fierce Knight!"

"Next, upon his summon, I can special summon one Black Luster Soldier from my hand! I call upon..."
Mike then drew a card from his hand and flashed it to Asoka, a level 8 Ritual monster. "The soldier of knights who slay dragons! I call upon the reincarnation of your old form! Descend from heaven! Super Solider - Black Luster Soldier!"

"Black Luster Soldier charges at Odd-Eyes! Heavens Sword strike!" Mike said, the armored warrior leaped and bashed the dragon with its shield, before swinging his sword to defeat it. "Along with the 500 damage, Super Soldier inflicts damage equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster!" Mike said as the soldier pointed its blade at Asoka, completely striking her down to 5000 life in an instant.
Along with 800 damage from Gaia's battle with Iris Magician, she added a PendulumGraph of Ages to her hand, before she took her turn with the 4200 remaining life.
"I Pendulum back my fallen monsters! Come back, Odd-Eyes and Iris!" Asoka said as she looked at her Pendulumgraph spell and her next card. Due to summoning introduction, she received one free synchro then a fusion monster, so she had a chance to change it with these cards in hand.
"Along with Those 2, I also Pendulum summon White Wing Magician!" She said as the as the final monster landed.

"A Tuner?! You mean... you've expanded again? Not just Pendulum and XYZ, but synchro?!"
"Yes, I've learned a new summon. While limited, it'll work! I activate the continuous spell; Pendulumgraph of Ages! This allows the free search of a Pendulum "Magician" from the deck when one leaves the field!"

"Now, I tune levels 4 White Wing with Iris! Two soellcasters form a bond for a new master, one to call out damage from pure enlightenment! I Synchro summon the Level 8 Enlightenment Paladin!!"

"It's..." mike said smiling at her learning something new already, barely 2 weeks into classes. "Violet poisons pendulum effect! By releasing him from the pendulum scale, he adds 1200 to any Dark Spellcaster!"
"That raises Paladin to 3700!?" Mike said as he saw Violet poison fall and coat Paladins blade in a glowing poison. "Next, Black Fang's Pendulum Effect! I target a face up monster you control, and it loses half its ATK. Black Luster Soldier loses 1500 ATK!"
A small crowd gathered to see Asoka's Pendulum skills, her being almost skilled to surpass to top duelist. "3700 against 1500?! What will happen??" The small crowd murmured as she smiled and motioned. "This! Since two pendulum Magicians left, along with the original 2 for the synchro summon, I add 4 pendulum monsters to my hand!" She said drawing the 4 cards and looking at her field. "Next, I set the scale with White Wing and Iris Magician! I can't Pendulum summon but I can use Iris' effect! All battle damage dealt by Paladin, since he's a dark spellcaster, is doubled!"

"Battle! Paladin charges in at Black Luster Soldier!" Asoka said while drawing a Black Fang Magician after the declaration.
"That's 3700 to a 1500 monster! Plus the double is..." a crowd member said as Mike answered with a wide shocked look. "4400 damage.."
"Plus Enlightenment has an effects you take damage equal to the value of the destroyed monsters original attack upon destruction!" She said as paladin joined its two blades and charges in, Iris' Soul around him as he slashed at the cripples soldier, dealing a total of 7400 damage to Mike, sending him skidding back.
"Wait! She-" a guy said as odd-Eyes roars and charges at Gaia the Fierce Knight. "Double damage again! 1400 total!"
"Even though I tried to show she had nothing to fear not knowing how to Synchro or Fusion... she surprised us all.. 8800 damage... good work.." mike thought as the blast hit him for game.
"Mike?!" Asoka said smacking him to wake the boy up, before he grumbled and tried to sit up before she smacked him again, not knowing he woke up.
"OW!!! DAMNIT ASOKA!! I'm up!" He said as multiple hand prints dotted his face. "Sorry, but good game" she said stretching her hand to him to help Mike up. "I realize Pendulum is all I need, the other summons are just extra".
"Good.." Mike said as he took her hand and got up, joining her for a lunch date...
