9300 life, a 4200 golem, an intercepting monster and only 4000 life. Mike cringed as he drew his card. Standard and Ritual, he knew those only. "I got this. I can destroy him! I activate Super Soldier Synthesis! I combine Beginning and Evening Knights to ritual summon! Level 8; Chosenji Black Luster Soldier (super soldier)!" Mike said calling his ace on his first turn.

Asoka cringed a bit as it couldn't be this easy but soon, she saw a card flash. "By discarding this card, during either battle phase, one Black Luster Soldier gains 1500 attack! Then, the ATK of the battler gets the ATK of Super Soldier's original attack! Shuneros goes to 3000 and Super Soldier attacks him!"

"Fool! I got dexia! She intercepts the attack and gains 300 ATK to block the attack and deal 300 damage!" Donna said as the final arm of Shuneros faded as Mike stood without a field and a 1 card hand. "I set one card. I end." He said as Doma then drew.

"Battle! I attack with Shuneros!" Doma said as the facedown flipped: "w-wha!" Doma laughed in shock as the card revealed itself. A pair of ghosts flew at him as Doma saw Shuneros lose 4200 ATK and become 0!

"Trap! Ghosts of the Past! By banishing 2 monsters, one monster loses its ATK and becomes 0 permanently!" Mike said banishing beginning and evening knight. "Damn you! I end my turn." Doma said gaining life to 10,200. (Just cuz)

"My turn! Draw!" Mike said playing. "I call on Arisen Gaia!"

"I can tribute this card and special summon A Black Luster Soldier! I call out; Super Soldier again!" Mike said as the card landed before them. Mike attacked Shuneros, believing victory but he was sadly mistaken. "Fool... you brought on her and your Doom. At a cost of all my life, Shuneros is destroyed but I special summon..."

"Divine Serpent Geh!" Doma said as Mike gulped as the serpent stood before them both. "I-infinite power?"

"Yes.. " Doma laughed as Mike ended his turn and looked back at Asoka. "Win... this." He said as Asoka nodded and when Doma charged in, Asoka landed, her disk armed and hand drawn as mike stood like Joseph, 0 life and in a daze. "Doma... you beat all who I hold dear. I will stop you. Someway... somehow." She said drawing her card to begin her turn.

"I use Stargazer and Timegazer Magicians to set a pendulum scale, one being 1-8! With these Magicians, I summon multiple monsters in one go! Pendulum summon! Arise my monsters!" Asoka said as she called down 3 monsters. "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Iris Magician and Black Fang Magician! Next, inactivate Odd-Eyes Fusion! This magic card fuses two monsters in my field for one Fusion Dragon-type monster! I fuse Iris and Black Fang Magician!"

Doma watched her Magicians fuse and form some distorted and strange dragon. "Dragons of darkness fear his power, monsters of higher planes await their destruction by it! Descend! Starve Venom Fusion Dragon!"

"Starve Venom's effect! He gains the attack of one Special summoned monster you control! Therefore, starve Venom grows to infinite!!" Asoka said as Doma stared at the power and looked. Nothing could stop it. He gulped and mumbled. "I-I... lost... no!"

Starve Venom attacked and destroyed the serpent as Doma stood with nothing left, no life as he shuttered. His disk deactivated as the seals shatter and let Doma fall over. Joseph and mike stood to a grumble of the earth around them. By herself, Asoka saw her cards, Supreme Dragon King Zarc, and Ray, glow as she heard them speak. Asoka nodded and a bright blue flash engulfed them all.

"Father? Mother?" Asoka said as she looked up to her parents who's angelic forms moved to her. "Asoka. Your job is done. The world will be reborn. New duel monsters are to form and new duels will occur. New ways of dueling, new darkness, but you helped pave a way for a new world. You... Joseph.. and Zarc."

Ray showed the facedown card Joseph set, a Euroknight card named "Tactical Advantage". "Asoka, this card is a gifted piece. This forms our new world. This isn't just a Euroknight card, it creates... Link monsters. This monster forms a new world that allows new life, and new peace for duelists. No dangers." Ray said as Asoka smiled at a future of peace with these 'link' monsters. "So... Asoka... activate it."

Asoka flipped the trap card and had a stream of computer bits and information flood out and as Joseph and Mike stare in shock. Asoka said to them. "This card gives us a new life! Dueling won't be a sport, it'll be casual life! Come guys! Let's go forth into a new world!"

Joseph and Mike, while skeptical, nod as they all go into the new cybernetic stream into a new world. What awaited them, in the new world, was unknown. They'd see for themselves in the coming months. Be it new duelists, new decks or anything, duel monsters was going to change forever.
