in our minds
the world seems so endless
and we know that
it will destroy us.
our chests are
deflating,
our eyes becoming
cold.
but inside our
hearts
we find the love
the beats
so naturally
for one another
and as we hold hands
we will stand up
against the world,
our blood thumping
as one.
