keeping my toes
on the ground
when my body started to
float.

as life tried to take
me away
you held my hand
and kept me from
flying away.

with your love
that spreads over my body
when you whisper
into my ear.
you held me like gravity
when the world began to tilt
and the air around us
became space
and gravity seized to exist
you held me against you,
you held me like gravity.
