I did, and you aren't going to like what I have to tell you

He just rolled his eyes dragging a now pouting Raven away.

It wasn't long after that whole ordeal that both she and I were packed and heading back to school. When we got on the plane we got word from her uncle that he would be meeting up with us once we get back to school. Hopefully here soon we'll have some answers.

EMILY'S POV

      We had been back at school for a couple days now and I have thankfully been successful in making sure neither Alex or I don't run into Dominique and her mutt. Alex and I are currently in our 3rd hour- Power development. Each vampire has one power, whether it be control over one of the elements or telepathy. The possibilities are basically endless. There is one exception though. Anyone with a direct line to the original heir to the throne can develop multiple powers.Meaning I have more than one power to develop, When a vampire turns 10 their power starts to show itself. My main power is control over fire, just like my father. Alex's power is control over metal. So we are now in class with me sitting in front of a candle trying to light it without setting the entire thing on fire and Alex is trying to bend a metal pipe without crushing it. Needless to say we are both having difficulty. What we have managed to do is send a searing hot spike into a dummy, although it was completely accidental. Our teacher was not very happy with us.

      By the time class was over Alex and I were both exhausted and starving. Thank goddess that our next hour was lunch, cause if I don't get some blood soon I'll go rabid. We were almost to the feeding area when we were stopped by the very people we so desperately wanted to avoid. Seriously!? Out of all the moments to bug me they picked the time that I am starving to start shit!

     Alex could tell I was pissed so he stepped in-between me and them "Whatever you guys want, now is not a good time."

I could feel my eyes going black due the immense hunger I was currently feeling. "Alex, I didn't get to feed when we woke up. I need blood, now."

He looked back at me and nodded "Move now or else this will get messy."

Dominique scoffed "Why would we do that? After all you're no threat to us." she said mockingly.

Zach grabbed her arm and leaned in close to her ear "Dominique knock it off."

I needed them to move cause if I started a fight I would lose control and go into a frenzy. That would be very dangerous. "Listen to your pet and move." I said through gritted teeth.

She just rolled her eyes and stepped aside. Alex and I tried to squeeze through the little space she had provided us, but the mutt decided to try and grab my hand. I grabbed his throat trying to show him not to mess with me. However the same excruciating pain shot through me and I let go if him immediately.

"Emily!" He exclaimed reaching towards me.

"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HER!!" Alex screamed "Come on, you need to feed."

Alex took us into the feeding area leaving a worried Zachery and a furious Dominique.

*TIME SKIP TO THE END OF THEIR 5TH HOUR*

Finally it's the end of the day! I can go to my dorm and read trying to drown out the idiots downstairs at the party. Now I know you're probably wondering why I won't be at the party. That's simple, because vampires at parties start acting stupid really fast. It usually ends up with a riot of some kind and a bunch of them in the infirmary. We had almost made it out of the school when we were stopped by one of the many teachers.

"Alex and Emily?" she asked.

Alex glanced at me before answering "Yes?"

"The headmaster would like to see you in his office. He says he found the solution."

Alex and I nodded and ran as fast as we could to uncle's office and when we got there Dominique and Zachery were waiting.

"Uncle! You figured out how to fix this mess!?" I asked extremely happy for this whole thing to be over.

"I did, and you aren't going to like what I have to tell you." He said worry written all over his face.
