"Skylar I'm going to be a mom, how am I going to explain to my family, that a innocent baby was conceived by a one night stand with a guy who's last name I don't even know and that I don't know him. Jason is going to lose it knowing his baby sister got pregnant from a guy she doesn't know."

"Ava it's going to be okay, your family maybe upset at first, but they love you and will be there to support you in the end and love that baby, but are you going to track down Damen and tell him your pregnant." Skylar asked me "I don't know, but if I can find him I will, because he has a right to know that he is going to be a father, but I can't make him stay."

"Ava I was thinking maybe you should tell everybody at dinner tonight, to get it done and over with it, that way they can help and support you like I am." Skylar said not looking at me afraid of what I was going to say but I agree with her my family has to know " Your right, tonight at dinner I'll tell everybody I'm pregnant, and when I do I can only hope for the best."

We pulled into the mall parking lot, so we can get a gift for my mom's 49th birthday dinner. Yes I know my mom is young , but she had my brother Jason at 18. I decided to park closer to the mall entrance, because I know now why I get tired so quickly. I park by a white 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we got out the car and walked in the mall. We walked around for few minutes before actually deciding what we were getting, I decided to go into Pandora and Skylar decided to go into Nordstrom's. We went our separate ways to the stores, so we could get my mom's presents. I walked into Pandora and there he was, my baby's father Damen.

I walked in the store trying to avoid him as I possibly could, I looked around the store for Tinker Bell theme and angel theme.

I stopped at the glass and was looking at the Disney characters when he came and spoke to me "Ava right?" "Yes, and your Damen." I said with a little bit of an attitude, I didn't know what to do, I had just found out an hour ago that I'm pregnant with Damen's baby and here he is.

"And here I thought I was never going to see your beauty again." I smiled a little realizing he was flirting with me, so I decided to flirt back "are you telling me that your relieved to see me." Damen blushed a little bit when I said that "Yes very relieved, you left that morning without so much as a goodbye." Once that was said I felt bad because you could hear the sadness and disappointment in his voice, before I could respond the sales lady came.

"Hi is there anything special that you are looking for today?"

"Um yes do you still have the tinker bell charms and angel charms?"

"Yes we do, what do you need?"

"Can I get the tinker bell theme Pandora jewelry set  and a angel charm."

"Yes you can, I'll be right back we just have to get the set ready."

"That's fine, take your time."

With that the sales lady went to the back, and me getting my mom's favorite Disney character I forgot Damen was still waiting for an answer.

"So why did you leave that morning" he whispers "was it really that bad, to where you just leave without saying anything." He asked me to where I was the only one to hear him.

"No, it wasn't that at all, it was amazing, but I just had the mindset that I should leave before he wakes up and kicks me out, why not leave myself." Damen looked at me with disbelief and sadness "You thought I was going to kick you out, can you explain to me why you thought that?"

At this point I realized that he was really looking for a full on complete explanation to why I left him high and dry. "I'm sorry it's just..... I can't do this right now." I said feeling my eyes start to water this damn pregnancy is making me very emotional, "Okay how about over dinner tonight?" He says looking into my eyes. " I can't I have dinner plans with my mom."  I say looking back at the glass "Okay, tomorrow lunch, you can meet me at my office around 2:30 because I have a meeting in the morning." Damen says now smiling at me, "Yes lunch would be good, just send me the address." I say smiling back at him.

He gave me his phone to put my number in, I put my number in and Damen was about to say something when the sales came back with the tinker bell set and the angel charms. As I was about to pay for my things Damen left and winked at me, I walked up to counter as the lady was bagging the items I pulled out my wallet.

It came up to 350 dollars, so I was about to give her my card when she said "oh no don't worry about it Miss it's already paid for." "What do mean it's already paid for?" I asked confused. "Yes the tall guy that just left Damen Mason paid for your items." I was shocked "um okay thank you."

I walked out of Pandora still trying to process what just happened, 'Did Damen just pay for my stuff.' My thoughts were interrupted by a excited Skylar "I got your mom the cutest shoes and some really cute perfume!" she said, "Okay so are you ready to go to your mom's birthday dinner."

My head was still processing that I just seen the father of my child, we're having lunch tomorrow, and he just paid for my stuff.

Damen's POV

I saw her again, the beautiful Ava shopping in Pandora looking for a tinker bell theme and an angel charm. She looked so gorgeous without make-up and her pretty black hair flowing down her back, I believed my heart stopped when I seen her. It was like my heart knew what it wanted, and it choose her.

When I asked her why she left that morning, I could see the hurt and tears in her eyes, I don't know what I did but it broke my heart seeing her about to cry.

Ava told me that she could not explain why right at the moment, so I had to change the subject, so I asked her out to lunch. I paid for her Pandora stuff before I left, so she wouldn't have to pay for it. I was in Pandora because my family invested in Pandora a long time ago, so I decided to see how things were going. I'm Glad I did because I got to see Ava again.

I left the mall to meet up with Jaylon at buffalo wild wings for football and dinner.

I got to buffalo wild wings and got a table for 2, as soon as I sat down Jaylon walked in and came and sat down.

Jaylon and I have been friends for years he is like my brother, I tell him everything, he even knows about Ava and how crazy I am about her.

"Jay I saw Ava today at the mall."

"The gorgeous girl from Kiss 2 months ago" Jaylon asked

"Yes and she still looks beautiful and tomorrow we're meeting for lunch."

"Bro I'm happy for you, now I don't have to keep hearing you say  how you feel like something is missing."

Jaylon was right for the past 2 months I have been saying how something is missing, and I think Ava is what I've been missing in my life.
