"Mommy, daddy wake up it's Christmas, come on get up Santa came." Karlie says jumping up and down on Damen and I's bed. We started a family tradition where our family stays at our house for 3 days, the day before Christmas eve, Christmas eve, and Christmas day. Karlie is now 4 years old and is very smart, she knows her ABCs, her 123s and how to spell her name, she also knows her birthday. Damen and I have two other children, Dj a.k.a Damen Junior is 2 years old and looks like Damen with my eyes, and Bella my baby girl who is only a month old. All of my children look like Damen and has my eyes, and my girls are daddy's girls and Dj is a momma's boy.
"Karlie is daddy and Dj up?" I ask her sitting up, "no but Bella is" she says getting off the bed, "okay wake up daddy for me and bring him and your brother downstairs." I get out of bed and grab Bella out of her bassinet because our kids slept with us last night, "hi momma are you hungry?" I say picking up Bella and walking down stairs to the living room, I get downstairs and I see everybody downstairs besides the moms. "Auntie Ava Santa clause came" Jayden says running over to me, "I see that." I say handing Bella to Jason, "where's mom and Lucinda?" I ask wondering where they were, "their in the kitchen cooking." Mackenzie says holding her son Kyle who is 3 years old just like Dj, I walk into the kitchen and see my mom and Lucinda cooking, they glance at me "it's about time you got up, Karlie was up early, but where is Damen and Dj?" Lucinda said smiling while stirring up the cake mix, "their on their way downstairs." I say walking in to help out with the food.

"Ava come here" I hear Dana calls me while I'm helping out in the kitchen, I walk out of the kitchen to see what Dana wants, "where the hell is Damen the kids are ready to open gifts." Austin says sitting on the floor now holding Bella. "Okay let me go get him and Dj" I say turning around to leave, "yes bring me my god son" I hear Kayla say as I'm walking upstairs.
I walk in my room and see Damen still sleep but Dj is just now waking up. "Dj come on Santa came, you wanna open presents." I say smiling at him, and he smiles, "yes mommy" he says jumping on the bed. I walk over to Damen and kissed his lips, he woke up with a smile "that's a good way to wake me up, good morning gorgeous." He says sitting up, I grab his hand "come on Dj and come on daddy the family is waiting on you two so they can open gifts." I say walking both Dj and Damen to the door while they both are holding my hand.
We get downstairs and they attack Damen "it's about damn time, we been waiting for 30 minutes now." Nate says rolling his eyes, "okay I'm sorry calm down my kids kept me up all night, and they let mommy sleep." He said with a sarcastic smile while looking at me, I laughed, "okay guys lets open gifts." My says as she and Lucinda walks out of the kitchen, smiling at us, "yay!" All of the kids yell and the adults, I laughed and Damen and I went and sat down.
Everyone opened their gifts and was very happy, we ate Christmas dinner, play games, and talked for a few hours.
