It's been 2 weeks since Karlie was born, Damen went back to work last Monday so it's just me and Karlie. I'm doing work from home and studying for my exams. Karlie is sleep in her room while I'm in Damen and I's room doing homework, I just finished when the door bell rings.

I walked downstairs and I open the door to crying Skylar, "Skylar what's wrong?" I say ushering her to come inside. We walk upstairs to my room so we can be closer to Karlie, Skylar sits on the bed and starts crying. "Skylar talk to me what's wrong, your scaring me." I say siting next to Skylar rubbing her back letting her know I was here.

"I'm not ready", was all she said "not ready for what?" I asked trying to figure out what is bothering her "Skylar please talk me, what are you not ready for." I say waiting for an answer when I hear Karlie crying on the baby monitor, "hold on I'll be right back, okay." I tell her getting up to go check on Karlie.

"What's the matter baby girl, you miss daddy" I say picking Karlie up and taking her to the changing table to see if she has to be changed, but she doesn't need to be change. So I brought her back to my room and Skylar was just sitting there in shock but when she heard Karlie it snapped her out if gaze and walked over to me and took her out of my arms.

"Hi Karlie I missed you haven't seen you in a while." Skylar says sitting on the bed with Karlie, "Ava I'm not ready to be a mom." She finally says taking her shoes off and laying Karlie in between her legs. I went and sat down next to her. "Your pregnant?" I ask turning the TV on, "I don't know, but I missed my period." She says playing with Karlie, "Have you been under any stress lately, because that can throw it off and sex can throw it off." I say looking at her, while she still played with Karlie.

"Yes Jaylon and I have been arguing and we would have make up sex afterwards but we always use a condom. But you and I both know condoms are not 100% effective and I think it broke." She says laying Karlie on her pillow that's sitting between us. "Because the night we left here after dinner we got into a heating argument and then we had make up sex. I woke up the next morning feeling sore, Jaylon was gone. I went into the bathroom to take a shower when I seen the condom on the floor, so I decided to throw it away since he missed putting it in the trash. But picking it up it felt sticky and I looked at it I seen the rip in the condom." She says starting to cry, "Okay when were you supposed to come on your period?" I asked so I could add it up, "5 days ago." Skylar said wiping her tears.

"Do wanna a in home test, but you won't know for sure because it's really early to find out now. I can have Damen pick some up before he comes home." I say but she looks at me "I don't know I really don't want Jaylon to know unless I know and even if I do I don't want him to know until I'm ready." I was about to answer her but Karlie started crying, I told Skylar to watch her real quick while I made her a bottle. I got back up stairs "you wanna feed her?" I asked handing her the bottle, "and Damen won't say anything if he knows what's good for him." I said sitting next to her watching her feed Karlie.

"Okay you can call him." Skylar says still feeding Karlie, I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and dialed Damen's number. "Hey beautiful what's going on?" Damen asked sounding like he was packing up getting ready to leave.

"Baby I need something before you come home.." I say to Damen.

"Sure what do you need?" Damen said, when I heard the car door.

"5 in home pregnancy test." I said surfing through movies while Skylar burped Karlie.

"Pregnancy test, what why do you need them?" Damen said freaking out, "I'll explain when you get home just please get them and I promise I will explain." I told him trying to get him to calm down, then I hung up.

Skylar and I decided to watch movies and talk, Karlie was sleep in her pillow. We were watching the longest ride When Damen walked in with a CVS bag. I get up off the bed and walk over to him telling him to be quiet, "Ava why do you need these?" He says in a stern voice, handing me the bag. "I will tell you later but can't you just trust me please." I say kissing his cheek, "Skylar come with me and Karlie may needs to be changed and she missed you." I say grabbing Skylar's hand and walking her to mine and Damen's bathroom.

Skylar peed on all 5 in home pregnancy test, now we are waiting for the results. "Ava I'm nervous like very nervous. You know how you were when you found out your pregnant I feel like that but 10x worse!" She said pacing the bathroom back and forth shaking her hands, I'm siting on the counter while we wait. "This is Deja VU this how you were acting when I found out I was pregnant and I told you to calm down because you were making me nervous. Which you are doing right now so please." I say to her then she stops pacing, we heard the beeping sound telling us it was time to check the results.

All 5 were negative I looked at Skylar who had the biggest smile I've ever seen in her whole life. "See it's just stress but if it doesn't come in a few more days you might wanna take another one." I tell her throwing the test away. "I know and I promise to call you when it comes or when I take another test." Skylar said hugging me, we walked out of the bathroom and Damen was sitting on the bed playing with Karlie.

"Okay I'll call you later Ava, see ya Damen, and bye sweet girl." Skylar said then hugged me, and kissed Karlie and left. I let her out and I got back up stairs to explain to Damen what the test were for.

I got in the room and went to lay down "So what was the pregnancy test for?" He asked laying Karlie down in her pillow, "Skylar thought she was pregnant. She came here crying panicking saying she wasn't ready to be a mom, and that her and Jaylon have been fighting. That's why I asked for them, and you cannot say anything to Jaylon about her little pregnancy scare." I tell him while laying down rubbing Karlie's belly.

"Okay." Damen said looking at me, I sat up and looked at him "Damen I'm serious if I find out he knows and Skylar didn't tell him, I promise you that the guest room will be your best friend." I say with a smirk, Damen eyes bulged out his head and there was a hurt look on his face. "Baby come here." He says grabbing my hand so I could move closer to him, "you can trust me I promise." He says kissing me.
