The world,
a place that had become
nothing but blurred swirls
of grays and blacks for me.Your smile,
the only white
I could see.Your eyes,
I guess I could say
they were the color
of the sea.
But that would be a lie.
They were something like a green.Green like the world
when spring finally has sprung,Green like the song
that's always left unsung.Green like Peter Pan,
lighting up everyone's day,Green like the flower
you wish could always stay.Green like a leaf
under the bright summer sun,Green like that feeling
when your life is undone.A green that shakes you
to your core,
somehow always leaving
you wanting more.
A green that I could admire
basically all day,
wow, I wish that you could stay.
