Different

I've lived my entire life,
pressured by society
to be someone I'm not.
I'm told that different is bad,
so I conform.

But why?
Why should I be the same
as everyone else?

There's no such thing
as someone being too weird,
only minds too bland
to handle those
who aren't afraid
of being unique.
