Mathan A Twilight Parody

-I Know What You Are- ~Part Five~

Nathan's POV:

Known as The Cold One, Fast, Strong, Lives off blood, avoids sunlight, etc. I read on and on at first not believing it because it seemed unreal. I remember when he saved me from the car, he was all the way on the other side, then he held my car so it wouldn't fall, me leaning into his cold hand, when he grabbed my shoulder he was so strong and still ice cold, never at school when we actually had sun. I've never seen him drink blood though... He definitely wasn't human.

My phone buzzed with texts from Nareesha and Kelsey. 3 from Kelsey, 2 from Nareesha, & 1 from Siva.

Kelsey- How was your date?

Text me!!!

Nathannnnnn

Nareesha- We want to know about your date!!!!

We should get together again...as in you, Siva, myself, & Kelsey of course!!

Siva- We should get together again.. You, me, Nareesha, & the blonde girl. I forgot her name.

To Nareesha & Kelsey- It wasn't a date!!!

To Nareesha & Siva- Yeah we should. 

After I turned off my phone spending my weekend researching. When I typed in The Cold One links to vampires showed up. Is Max a vampire? Makes sense.

Time flew by and it was Monday again. I ignored everyone and decided to walk across camus at lunch. I made eye contact with Max and then walked past him headed for the woods.

Max's POV:

He was distant today. When I first saw him, a wave of overprotectiveness hit me. At night, I'd watch him sleep, dumb boy left his window open all night. He saw me once, but once he did a double take I was gone. By day, I was always around him. The first day I met him I wanted to drink his blood. I've never wanted it so much, so I took a few days off telling Jay to watch over him.

Oh yeah I'm a vampire by the way, but my family and I drink animal blood only. Challenging, but we get through it.

The first day I saved him from being crushed to death, I fell in love with him. My heart from starting to beat again when I held him. After that, I started following him. Staying out of sight so that he couldn't see or hear me. He reminded me of Jay as a human except less social. I saved him again from being raped and robbed.Those guys circled him obviously wanting him. 

Today he was ignoring everyone. At lunch, I left my normal spot and walked across campus looking out for him. His eyes met mine at one point with a look that he knew something. He walked past me into the woods next to our school.

I followed him and found him standing with his back to me.

You okay Nathan? I asked him.

I know what you are. He said. How would he kn- I then remembered him going to that bookshop. Maybe he got a book and compared it?

And what would that be? I asked not giving in. He was silent so I walked toward him, my hand on his shoulder. He shivered at the touch of my cool hand, but I didn't let go.

Say it. I said then repeating when he didn't answer.

Vampire. He breathed out.

Are you scared? I asked him.

You won't hurt me. He said turning around meeting my eyes.

Clever. How did you find out? I asked him.

When you touch me your always cold, when you saved me you were by Tom and Jay not walking towards me, you held my car so it wouldn't hurt us oh and it all summed up when I noticed you, Tom, and Jay are never at school when the sun is out. Nathan explained to me.

The sun. My feared enemy. I smirked at him.

What happens to you exactly? Do you burn to ash? Nathan asked me making me bark out a laugh.

Come with me. I said dragging him up the hill.

Your like a sloth. I said picking him up instead and running up the hill.

Too fast!! Too fast!! Nathan exclaimed from my arms. I slowed down and felt him relax.

Once at the top of the hill where the tall trees opened up a little I set him down. He wasn't frightened obviously or just a really good actor. I took off my shirt and smirked when he stared at me.

Like what you see? I asked him as his eyes dropped, his heart picked up, & his face turned red. I walked into the light and my body sparkled.

Sparkles? No death? Nathan asked staring at me.

I'm already dead. I snapped.

I'm sorry. He said quietly.

It's fine. I said walking towards him.

I put on my shirt and picked him up again hearing some feet. I ran deeper into the forest and then stopped knowing who it was. I set Nathan down as Tom and Jay appeared next to us in an instant.

Tell anyone and I'll rip your bod-

Tom! I said interrupting him as Nathan shrunk into me more.

How does he know?! You know were not supposed to tell!!! Tom shouted at me.

He figured it out himself. He won't tell anyone right? I said looking at Nathan.

I would never tell anyone. I promise. Nathan looking at Tom.

Did you tell him the most interesting part?? Jay asked excitedly.

You drink blood? Nathan asked us. Jay and I laughed shaking our heads no.

We.. or Jay and I have powers. I said as Tom made a hmph sound.

Powers? Nathan asked.

Right.  Like Jay can control emotions. I told him.

Is this why I'm always happy in Math? Nathan asked Jay.

Yeah. You don't seem to smile a lot so I wanted to help out. Jay said smiling.

What's yours? Nathan asked me.

Persuasion. Power to control people with my voice. I told him.

I like Jay's better. Your's would be dangerous in some ways. Nathan said.

It doesn't work on you for some strange reason. I said.

Doesn't work? Why? Nathan asked me.

We don't know. Jay's power works, but mine doesn't. You must be able to block it somehow. I told him.

Try it. Nathan told me.

Tom say who you like out loud. I said staring Tom directly in the eye.

Kelsey Hardwick. Tom said without blinking.

Really? She talks about you sometimes. Nathan told him.

Maxxx. Tom whined not liking having to admit that.

Nathan admit who you like. I said staring at him directly in the eye. Nathan smiled and shook his head no.

See. Doesn't work. I said all of a sudden feeling a wave of love and confidence.

Nathan's POV:

See. Doesn't work. Max said. All of a sudden I felt a wave of love and confidence. I looked at Jay who smiled and then at Max who was looking at Jay too. Max kissed me and I kissed back not pulling away until Jay pulled us away.

Sometimes all people need is a little push. Jay said laughing.
