Nathan's POV:

Dad took me to dinner that night. He invited the Kaneswarans too so we were going to leave at 6pm, but we left at 6:30pm due to me losing track of time.

Dad drove in his police car, and offered to let me sit in the back seat like when I was younger. I didn't want to disappoint him so I agreed. He talked the whole ride there, talking about when I was younger and playing with the Kaneswaran children.

The two older girls liked babysitting you. The older boys didn't particularly like you since you were a baby, and stole the attention away. Haha. Siva liked you though, cared for you like his own. Dad went on.

I don't remember. I said.

I know. You were only a couple months old. You came over for Christmas one year as well....hmm...When you were 6. Remember? Dad asked me. I thought back to when I was 6.

I don't really remember. Wait did you dress up as Santa? I asked.

Yep! Glad you remember the best part. Dad said turning back to smile at me. He pulled in a parking space, and climbed out of his car. He opened my door, and I saw Siva, his Dad, another Siva, and Nareesha.

Hey jailbird. Siva said.

Hey. I said waving around at all of them.

What happened to your cheek boy? Lean down so I can see. Mr. Kaneswaran told me. I leaned down, and he rubbed his hand over it. It hurt a bit when he touched it, but I stayed until he was done.

We had a argument, and it went a little to far. Dad told them.

You old rascal! Mr. Kaneswaran said rolling over to my Dad. They walked in the diner telling us to follow soon.

That's what happened? I thought Max did something... Nareesha said looking at my bruise again.

Max wouldn't hurt me. I said shaking my head.

Max? The lookalike asked. I stared at him confused until Siva introduced him.

This is my twin Kumar. Siva said proudly.

My twin. I'm older. Kumar said lightly punching his shoulder.

Whose Max? Kumar repeated.

His boyfriend. Now let's go I'm cold out here. Nareesha spoke for me then headed for the door with Kunar.

Boyfriend? Siva asked me.

Yeah. Your not homophobic right? I asked backing up a bit just in case.

Oh no I'm not. I just never saw it. Siva said putting his hand on my shoulder and leading me to the door. I smiled happy my best friend was alright with me.

Great. I said not going into detail unlike Nareesha who told them about our school.

Nareesha your dating my Siva, what about you Nathan? Any lucky girl? Mr. Kaneswaran asked me. I met eyes with Nareesha who smiled urging me to tell....I never told my father... Well it's only been a couple days..

He's dating a guy named Max. Siva said, Nareesha and I both telling him to shut up with our eyes.

Parker? My dad asked me.

Uh yeah. Forgot to mention that. I said.

I wouldn't trust a Parker. Mr. Kaneswaran told me.

Why? Dad asked for the both of us. I didn't know they knew Max and his family.
