"Nina! Come here girl, I haven't seen you in a week." Aria exclaimed as she crossed paths with the beautiful brunette
"I know, I've been so busy working on my last scene and touch ups and packing and everything else. I'm gonna miss this place." Nina informed her best friend
"Yeah, I'm so sad you have to go." Aria frowned pulling her in for a hug.
"I'll miss you more." She frowned as well
"Where's your boyfriend?" Nina brought up to bring them out of the blues
"My what? Boyfriend- I don't-"
"I mean Paul... duh." Nina stated the obvious
"We're not dating N." Aria defended herself, Paul is just a friend who is never gonna see you like that. Aria thought to herself
She remembered how she had the biggest crush on him four years ago, and she liked him for the longest time. It took multiple months to get over him. Meaning laughing at the possibilities of him ever seeing her more than just a friend.
"Aria, Nina, Paul's on tv come watch him with me." Kat yelled from across the hall
"Let's go." Aria chuckled a bit, then grabbed Ninas hand leading her into Candices makeup room.
"So Paul, we've seen you with a lot of beautiful ladies lately. Tell me the truth, do you have a crush on any of them?" The interviewer questioned Paul, obviously hoping for a yes
"Umh, actually no, I don't have any crushes on any of the girls I hang out with." Paul said affirmatively
"So there are no strong feelings towards your costar, Aria Grayson?" The interviewer asked obviously not giving up on the subject
Aria tenses up in her seat, starting to fiddle with her fingers. Kat, Candice, and Nina glanced at Aria. They knew the truth about where Paul and Aria stood. But it wasn't their business to say.
"No, Aria is nothing more than a friend. I see her as a sister maybe." He chuckled
Although they were harmless words, maybe even a complement. It broke Aria, her feelings for Paul were never upfront. At least not to Aria. But now they are, and she has a crush on Paul once again. And once again, he's crushed that crush she's developed.
"I'm gonna go use the bathroom." Aria announced then immediately walked away from her group of friends
As soon as she reached the sink, a tear slipped. She wasn't sad because he didn't like her. But the fact that she's rejected by the same boy, now twice, just stung. It hurt and she hated that.
