A/N: Song above, feel free to listen as you read. That's what I like to do anyways. Also.. the ending is a surprise.

Nova Dillon
This morning I actually slept in, which probably had to do with the fact that I couldn't sleep at all the night before. Evinor was already down stairs, helping my mom out with break fast and making small talk. It wasn't that easy getting out of bed. I had a small migraine the moment I sat up. Ruining the very start of my day.
I scratched my head, and looked over at the mirror as I yawned. Surprisingly, I was wearing fuzzy pink and white socks, which I normally couldn't stand wearing. Especially when I went to bed. All I could hear where birds chirping, and the tree branches blowing against my window that was partly open for some reason.
I walked out of my room, barely awake, and my fluffy hair sitting on top of my right shoulder. I could hear was Evinor and my mom, having more conversation than her and I ever did. I looked down the railing, wanting to jump off— but knowing it wouldn't solve my problems.
"Evie, mo-" Before I could finish my sentence I was attacked from behind by my little brother Calen. Last I remember, he was resting in bed with bandages and stitches all over his body. He seemed taller, cuter, and a lot healthier.
"Oh my god, owe, don't do that to me," I giggled as we both fell to the floor, "I missed you so much. How old are you now?"
"I'm surprised you don't remember your own brothers age," He chuckled, "Tomorrow I'm turning thirteen. Which means I'm going to officially be a teenager."
"And I just feel.. old," I cringed at the thought, "I remember being thirteen. You where just a little baby. So don't grow up too fast, you'll regret it."
"Whatever."
"Caleb come look at this hot babe," Another voice was heard inside of Calen's room, and I instantly became interested, "She's hot and naked."
There was a blonde boy, just around his age with a camera sticking outside of the window. He was taking pictures of some girl inside of her house, "What the hell, don't do that!"
"What are you doing Nova! Don't touch his camera!" Calen tackled me once more, "He's minding his own business why can't you mind yours?"
"This is pornography! You both are going to be in so much trouble; people go to jail for this shot!" I bickered, looking through the photos in disgust.
"Damn, your sister is hot," The blonde boy chirped once again, and I grabbed him by the ear long enough to scar him.
"Get out of our house you little shit!"
Once he left the house crying. I sat Calen down, ready to give him that speech that my mom apparently hadn't gave him.
"Calen Listen, you need to find better friends. Your friends influence your behavior. And from what I've seen so far, you have terrible friends," I told the truth, "Look at you. You're such a cute, smart boy. Who deserves better friends."
"I'm thirteen, not two," He rolled his eyes, "Just leave me alone. I realize you're trying to help me out, but I don't need your help. Just leave me alone!"
He wasn't listening mainly because he was a naive teen. And was too stubborn to listen to what anyone but his friends said. So as he stormed out, I took a deep breath and walked down stairs to find Evinor and my mom.
"Hey Nov, you're finally up," Evinor plastered a huge smile on her face, acting like we really got along that well, "Honestly, love the new hair do. You must show me how you get your hair like that."
