"Ug Bash I'm famished are you sure we don't have any money." Bash looked in the small sack attached to his waist.

¨Nope nothing.¨ Great! We were on our way to Sea Crest after we were nearly killed by the queen of Winingdow. Anna had tried to kill Bash after kidnapping me her biological daughter. She then tried to obtain all of my magic and finish me off like my father before me. Luckily, I don't know how, but Bash escaped the prison and saved me. Magnolia wasn't safe anymore nor was anywhere within the woods. If I knew anything about Anna it's that she would wake up and not sleep until we were both found and killed.

Sea Crest was probably the best place to hide now. There were small houses and it was right on the ocean. The port near the dock had easy access in and out of the kingdoms so if we ever needed to escape that would be the quickest way. It was almost the midway point between Winingdow and Magnolia.

We couldn't use our real names of course. I went by Kenna and Bash went by Francis. When we neared the village we got off the horses and walked the rest of the way. I was still wearing the same outfit that I had been kidnapped in. Now it was all torn up and shoes could barely hold my feet. I pulled up my cloak's hood as we got closer.

When we finally reached Sea Crest I could see a port overlooking the ocean and a few houses along the sides.

¨Excuse me madam,¨ I asked the first lady we saw walking by.

¨Yes.¨ Said the fair skinned dark brown haired girl.

¨My husband and I are lost and need a place to rest. Do you have anywhere?¨

¨Yes of course follow me. By the way my name is Mary. What's yours?¨ Bash answered,

¨Bash and...¨

¨Francis and Kenna.¨ I said giving him a death stare. Mary took us down a dirt hill two one of the first houses.

¨Alright, here you are.¨ She said before leaving, ¨And welcome to the Sea Crest family.¨ I took off my cloak and placed it down on the hay cot.

¨Should I start a fire?¨ Asked Bash.

¨Yes,¨ I said shuddering. I closed the wooden plank door and looked out the windows.

¨You know,¨ I said, ¨We're going to have to find a way to cover these windows.¨ Bash stopped blowing at the coals and stood up.

¨Why?¨ He asked scratching his head.

¨Because we can't risk being seen. I'll try and get some cloth to cover it up. But until then try and stay as invisible as possible. Got it?¨ Bash nodded his head. ¨Good.¨ The first thing that we needed was some food. Then I would go into the village and try and find some cloth to make clothes and coverups for the windows. Just then there was a knock on the door. Low and behold it was Mary.

¨Hello sorry to interrupt but I just thought that I should let you know.¨

¨Let us know what?¨ I asked.

¨Well,¨ she said, ¨We have pirates in the area. They were mad when we first moved here and now they have been trying to get revenge. I just wanted to inform you. If that ever happens we go straight to Magnolia. The king and queen such lovely people have offered us full protection.¨

¨Well thank you so much.¨ As Mary turned around and walked out the door I called, ¨Um just wondering where do you get food?¨ She laughed looking like she was about to pee herself.

¨Silly you go to the port. I'll take you if you want.¨

¨Really?¨ I said grabbing my cloak.
