Chapter 17

Stephens P.O.V

What the hell just happened? For those last 60 seconds Kendall had disappeared from my memory. I like Lauren way too much, even more now than before. This was not good at all. My heart stopped when we kissed. I know it sounds sappy but Lauren just does something different to me. I never get that feeling from Kendall. I mean I liked Kens, but nothing like this. It made me feel kind of bad.Like I was guilty for being with Kendall but liking Lauren a lot more. Kendall knows though, so I guess there's nothing wrong...

I kept looking around for Kendall and finally found her sobbing on a bench and took a seat beside her. I knew this pregnancy thing was hard for me to accept, but I couldn't even imagine how scared Kendall must be.

''You alright doll?'' I asked taking her hand and helping her up

''No'' She broke down in tears ''I'm scared Stephen''

I pulled her into a tight hug ''I know doll, I know''

I didn't know what to do, we were both young and had no idea about anything related to babies. I told my parents the other day about it all, my mam was raging but shes still supportive of course. My dad, on the other hand was the complete opposite, he hasn't talked to me since, wont even look in my direction. Which is making things tougher and more upsetting for my mam.

''Lets go home'' I said placing my jacket over Kendall's shoulders

She nodded, I wrapped my arm around her as we headed back to my car. 

I looked around when I heard giggling. I seen Lauren drunkenly stumbling down towards the car park. She had her arm around Jake Driscol's waist and he had his arm around her shoulder. They both looked very suspicious and giddy. They stopped at his car and started making out.

''What are you staring at?'' Kendall questioned

I snapped out of my daze, she looked across and noticed them too,

''Nothing babe''

''Lauren? Really''

''I was just seeing if shes okay''

She sighed and we got into the car. What was Lauren doing? She had just been upset over him being with other girls yet she goes back to him five minutes later. Hes not going to change, hes always been like that. Girls throw themselves at him all the time.

It made me angry seeing him take advantage of Lauren like that.

''Babe I have to go help Lauren out''

''Its none of your business Stephen'' She argued

I ignored her and made my way over. I walked swiftly up to Jake and called him. As soon as he turned around I full force socked him in the nose. A wave of anger had taken over me, I didn't know why I did it. Just I liked her so much, it was awful to see him doing this.

''What the fuck?'' He screamed and pushed me back.

I squared up about an inch away from his face. Lauren screamed and begged us to stop and Kendall came running over. Lauren went straight over to keep Kendall away.

Jake swung for my face and I dodged and got him again in the nose which then started bleeding. I was surprised I was winning, Jake was an amazing fighter usually. I suppose he was drunk.

Kendall screamed at me so I stopped , turned and put my arm around her as we made our way back to the car. She tore my hand off her.

''What the hell was that?'' She asked

''Sorry I just , Jake's an idiot...I-''

''Stephen your the idiot. Let Lauren make her owns mistakes. They shouldn't concern you''
