Chapter 19

Once again I found myself drunk in the club and wrapped around Jake. It was getting a bit over the top now since the boat event. He had been a lot more attached to me for some reason. Maybe he was starting to like me. Who knows...

He had his around around me as we sat cosily in the corner booth. He kissed my forehead and told me I looked gorgeous, which made my heart melt. Maybe he was changing, maybe he was abandoning his player ways. I doubted that..

''You place or mine toinght?'' He whispered into my ear

I giggled ''Yours''

Stephen arrived a little drunk and took a seat next to me. Him and Jake hadn't got along since the fight incident. When Stephen sat down Jake got up and told me he'd be back soon. He even gave me a kiss before he left.

''Yous seem to be getting cosy together?'' Stephen asked

''Hmm a little I suppose'' I laughed

''Are you happy?'' Stephen asked

''Yeah'' I smiled

''Thats all that matters then''

Stephen was such an amazing guy. I had never been so happy to meet someone in my life. He is my best friend and when I think back, he had been there for me everytime I've ever needed him. Thinking back to the first day I met him, I realised that I would never had settled here so fast if it wasn't for him. He warned me and told me what was good for me and even when I didn't take his advice he was still always there for me at the end of the day.

I glanced over to see Jake drinking at the bar. I thought he had enough to drink already, but it wasn't my place to tell him what to do.

 I chatted away with Stephen for about an hour until we were interrupted my Jake stumbling over. I jumped up.

''Woah Jake relax'' I said

''Lauren come here'' He slurred

I walked over to him and he wrapped his arms around me and began kissing my neck. I pushed him off.

''Jake this is not the time or place for this'' I bit angrily

What was wrong with him? He was being so inappropriate. I was just starting to see a change in him.  Stephen took my arm and led me to the door/

''Lauren! Where you going?'' Jake yelled

''Ignore him'' Stephen said as we walked swiftly to the door.

We got a cab back to Stephens house. I was really upset because Jake had scared me a little.

''You okay?'' Stephen asked as we sat in the cab

''I'm alright''

We were both a little drunk so Stephen decided to make us both toasted ham sandwhiches.

''Oh this is so good right now'' I said as I munched on the sandwhich

Stephen laughed '' Lets go watch tv''

I snuggled in beside Stephen. He was the person I always felt most comfortable around. Before long I had fallen asleep beside Stephen. He woke me up about an hour later, I was freezing.

''Lauren'' He whispered

''Can I get you some pyjamas?'' He asked

''No, give me a cuddle'' I asked

He wrapped his arms around me and I snuggled in closer to him.

''I love you Stephen'' I said

''I love you too Laur''
