Chapter 14: A X simple X phone X call X away!

In a town named Rosemary, there were a group of six men all huddled in a circle. Discussing how they could track down two children, one fourteen and the other fifteen. The sun was starting to rise, as they had all slept in the surrounding forest that night.

"The beansprout enjoy's being a clown." Said a blue haired swordsman. "Is there anywhere near here that street performances happen often?"

"Kill likes Choco Robot candy." Came the monotone voice of a wide eyed assassin. "A place with a large candy shop would be likely."

"That boy's a monster when it comes to gambling!" Stated a gray skinned man. "Any places with casinos? Besides York New or course!"

"Wait guys... I think I have an idea." Spoke a blue suited doctor.

They all turned to him, and stared in anticipation. They were open to all ideas.

"It's really simple actually!" The doctor rubbed the back of his head nervously. "I have Killua in my contacts... Would it be too simple to just, you know, call them?"

We're idiots!" Tyki declared.

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

"It seems so~♥️" Hisoka cooed.

"Pretty much." Kanda grunted.

"It's official!" Lavi laughed.

"Well most of us." Illumi clarified.

Leorio took out his phone and called Killua, there was no time to wait for a text back. They needed to know NOW!

The phone rang a few times before it was answered.

"Uuhhgg... What do you want this early in the morning?" Groaned the voice of Killua through the phone.

Leorio sighed in relief, "Oh good you're awake! It's Leorio! Me and a bunch of other dudes are in a bit of a pickle here!" Stated the doctor.

"Yeah like what?" Grunted the tired Killua.

"You wouldn't happen to be with a guy with who has white hair, a scar over his left eye, and a messed up arm would you? His name is Allen Walker!" Leorio asked.

Killua blinked, surprised that Leorio knew who Allen was. "Yeah... He's here, he's still asleep though."

"YES! Ok where are you?!" The doctor demanded. They were finally onto something.

"We're currently at a motel in Mantune. Why are you looking for Allen exactly?" Killua was skeptical of Leorio.

"I've got a few guys with me here who know him. Their names are Kanda, Lavi, and Tyki!" Stated the doctor.

Killua sighed in relief, "finally we can find some of his friends. It feels like we've been searching forever! I'll wake him up and tell him!" The assassin declared.

Leorio heard some muffled talking from the phone then suddenly a new voice rang through.

"PUT THEM ON THE PHONE!" Yelled the voice of who Leorio assumed was Allen Walker.

Leorio quickly handed the phone to one of the foreigners. Lavi was the first the grab it.

"ALLEN! THANK GOD YOUR OKAY!" The redhead shouted. "KANDA AND TYKI ARE HERE TO!"

"ME AND KILLUA HAVE FOUND A LEAD ON WHERE LENALEE IS!" Allen yelled through the phone.

"STOP SCREAMING!" Killua shouted.

"Uhh sorry!" Allen grinned sheepishly at the assassin.

"Leorio said you guys are at a place called Mantune right?" Lavi double checked.

"Yeah, we're waiting for the hospital to allow visitors. Apparently Lenalee is there!" Stated Allen.

"Ok! We'll be there as soon as possible!" Lavi cheered.

Kanda suddenly took the phone, "LENALEE BETTER BE THERE LIKE YOU SAID OR YOU'RE DEAD! GOT THAT BEANSPROUT?!" The swordsman yelled.

"But I haven't canfirmed anything!" Allen panicked.

Then Tyki took the phone, "Then we've gotta find the other Noah's! Ok boy?!" Stated the gray skinned man.

"Well- I- Uhg!" Allen stumbled over his words.

They ended the phone call and sighed in relief.

"Soo uhh..." Lavi spoke up, "Is there a train to this Mantune place?" Asked the Bookman.

Illumi looked at the redhead, "No but there is a bus." He answered.

"Oh great." Kanda groaned, "Another agonizing ride!" The swordsman complained.

Hisoka chimed in, "Well I guess it's safe to say we're making progress~♦️" The clown mused.

"Alright! Let's get to that bus stop!" Leorio exclaimed.

And they all headed toward their next destination. Confident that they finally found their beansprout.

Another kinda short chapter but I liked this one! Slowly but surely we're getting there! I'm going to try and make the next one longer and a tad more entertaining 😅
