I've noticed that you guys are silent readers. Which is fine because readers are readers & I appreciate you all, but it'd be nice to get comments. No comments, no motivation. I feel like i'm just wasting my time with this story.

Austin had just texted me right when Erica had finished my make-up.

'I'm done. Bring a swimsuit (: - Austin'

'?? Ok.. -jessie xx'

"So, what do you think?"

I looked away from my phone and into the mirror to see my reflection, and I liked what I saw. Normally, I don't like wearing eyeliner, but she had put a little bit on and it didn't look bad. She had also put on a light blush and some lip gloss which was a darker shade than I was used to.

"Wow. It looks good, thanks." I smiled.

"No problem. Now go have fun."

"Bye." I jumped down from the counter, and went to my room to grab a bathing suit. I grabbed my baby blue striped two piece, sandals, and a bag to put them in. After I had my stuff, I said bye to Erica again and left. I saw Austin walking across the street towards my house as I walked down my driveway.

"Hey." He said as he got over to me.

"Hey."

"I had fun with you at your house, but that wasn't a real date. It was just... hanging out. So, I figured we could go do something else." He smiled.

"Ok, what are we doing?"

"Well there's a lake towards the back of the park, so I thought we could go chill there."

"Sounds nice."

"Cool. Oh, are you hungry?" He asks.

"Not really. Why?"

"Just checking because I didn't think to bring anything."

"It's fine, let's just go." I smiled. We walked down to the park and followed the trail down to the lake.

"Do you wanna swim now or later?"

"Now. It's pretty hot out here." It was only around noon so it was starting to get hot out.

"Alright, well, the girls changing rooms are over there." He said, pointing to a small building off to the right of the trail. "Just go down the trail until you see the water and i'll meet you there since i've already got trunks on."

"Ok. I'll meet you in a bit." I walked over to the changing rooms and went inside to put on my bathing suit. Once I was done I put my sandals on and put my shorts and shirt back on over my swim suit. I took my bag and left, following the trail like Austin had told me. When I got to the water I found him sitting in the grass.

"I'm ready." I dropped my bag next to Austin.

"Good." He took off his shirt and threw it down next to my bag, and then jumped into the water. "Come on." He said.

"Hold on. I don't want my hair to get wet." I said, putting my hair up in a bun. "And what about my make-up."

"You're such a girl, just get in already."

I chuckled as I took off my shirt and shorts and went down to the water. I got in up to about my waist before I realised how cold the water was.

"Holy crap, this water's cold!"
