"I'm nervous." Austin said.

"Yeah, me too." Connor agreed.

"Relax, you guys. You'll do great." I said, trying to reassure them.

"She's right. I know you both will be fine." Avery agreed.

Basketball tryouts have finally come, and Austin and Connor are nervous. I mean, I don't see why because they're both talented, but they are. Avery and I have been trying to calm them down for the past fifteen minutes, but it was no use.

"Okay, well we better get in there." Austin said, not moving.

"Good luck." I said. I went up to Austin and gave him a hug and a kiss and I went up to Connor and gave him a hug. Avery hugged Connor.

"We'll be at my house. You two should come by after tryouts." I said to the boys.

"Okay." Was all they said.

"Alright, bye guys." I smiled.

Avery and I turned around and started the walk to my house.

"I think it's cute, how nervous they are." She laughed.

"I know. I really don't think they have anything to worry about. Yes, they do have some competition, but they're both really good. We'll just have to see what happens." I said.

"True." She agreed.

"So you and Connor, huh?" I teased, nudging her arm. "You too have been really close lately."

"I know." She smiled. "I really like him."

"I can tell. Are you guys talking? Like as in almost in a relationship type thing?" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that. We're not exactly just friends anymore, but we aren't a couple." She explained.

"How adorable." I gushed. "I know you two are going to make a great couple one day."

"Yeah, yeah." She laughed.

Minutes later, we arrived at my house. We went up to my room and both plopped down on my bed.

"What are we going to do?" She asked.

"Let's watch Netflix?" I suggested.

"Let's do it."

I opened up my computer and logged on to Netflix.

"Which movie?" I asked.

"Here, let me see." She turned the laptop towards her and looked through some movies before stopping on one.

"I love this movie." I smiled.

She had chosen House at the End of the Street.

"Me too." She agreed.

I clicked on the movie and we positioned ourselves comfortably on the bed.

The movie was already over. Avery and I talked for a bit before the guys got here.

I heard the doorbell ring so I hurried down the stairs and opened the door.

"Come in." I smiled.

They walked in and stood in the entryway, waiting for me to close the door.

"Wow, you guys look-"

"Sweaty." Avery finished for me as she walked down the stairs to join us.
