Well Austin is pissed and I feel guilty. I mean, I guess I should've expected this.
I sighed and went back to the couch. I sat down and tried to find something to preoccupy myself with.
I played around on my phone for a while, but got bored of it after some time. Then I tried watching tv, but I couldn't focus on it.
I kept thinking of how Austin must be feeling right now. I kept thinking of how stupid I was to do that. And, I was thinking about how this could affect our relationship.
An hour and a half went by and I couldn't take it anymore; I needed to talk to him.
I pulled out my phone and sent him a text.
'Can we please talk? -jessie'
Honestly, i'm tired of talking. I wish everything could just be fixed with a snap of my fingers, but nothing is ever that easy. But, if talking is what it's going to take to fix everything, then i'll do it.
It was ten minutes later and he still hadn't responded. I was just going to have to go to his house myself and ask him face to face.
I got up and left my house to go to his. I rang the doorbell and seconds later Michele opened the door.
"Hi." She smiled.
"Hi. Is Austin here?" I asked.
"No, he took off about half an hour ago." She replied.
"Do you happen to know where he went?"
"I have no idea, sorry. Is everything okay?"
"I just really need to talk to him." I sighed.
"Well I hope you two can work it out, whatever's bothering you too." She flashed me a sympathetic smile.
"Me too. Thanks anyways." I said, walking away from the door.
I don't know where he could've gone. All his friends just got out of school about five minutes ago, so I don't think he'd be at any of their houses.
Then it hit me. I had an idea of where he could be. I mean it's possible that he could be somewhere else, but I really think I know exactly where he is.
I started walking back to my house, but I was almost ran over by my own sister.
"What the hell. You can't just walk out into the middle of the street like that." She yelled when she had gotten out of her car that was now parked in the driveway.
"Sorry, I guess i'm just out of it." I apologized.
"Yeah, obviously." She scoffed.
"Look, can you drive me somewhere?"
"No."
"Erica, please. I really have to talk to Austin. I know where he is, it won't take long." I begged.
"Fine. Get in." She said.
She got back in the car and I got in on the passenger side.
After fifteen minutes of me giving her directions, we finally got there.
"Thank you so much." I said to her.
"You're welcome. Go get your boyfriend back." She smiled.
I started running down the beach, but I couldn't see him anywhere. I was starting to get discouraged, but then I remembered that place he showed me last time we came to the beach.
I made my way over to that rock and, sure enough, there he was. I breathed a sigh of relief as I climbed up the rock. I sat down next to him and it remained quiet for a few seconds.
