Yoongi was known in his line of work as the best, and that wasn't really a compliment. Yoongi was a very skilled hitman. He always obeyed orders knowing that he was never killing anyone good per say.

The company he worked under only killed those who deserved to die, those who messed with the drugs that the company controlled in the black market. He killed scumbags and wife beaters and never felt sorrow for them.

It was a normal Tuesday when a file arrived at his door. As usual the file included information about the target and multiple photos. Yoongi opened the file and the first thing he noticed was the kid was young.... Ignoring the guilt feeling in his gut he continued to read.

"Wanted for turning in a fellow hitman for useless reasons." Yoongi felt angered by the reason. One because the kid turned in one of his work mates and two because that isn't a real reason to be needed dead.

Sighing Yoongi got up and went to the coffee place it said he worked at.  Park Jimin, I'm sorry. Yoongi thought as he drove to the store.

Yoongi waited outside the store until he saw the last customer leave. As he began walking down the sidewalk he saw a taller man step outside the store.

"I'll be back in a few Jimin, I'm going to take out the trash." The man said leaving with a large sized trash bag.

Yoongi entered the store to see a man turned around with dirty blonde hair cleaning a table.

"Jimin." Yoongi spoke his voice muffled by the mask he was wearing covering the lower half of his face.

Jimin turned around and looked at him with confusion written all over his face.

"I'm sorry we are closed." Jimin said biting his lip.

Yoongi sighed taking his gun out from behind his back.

"I'm sorry I have to kill you." Yoongi said pointing the gun at Jimin.

Yoongi waited to hear the sad begging that slowly wore his heart out but it didn't come.

Jimin gasped eyes going wide but slowly he closed his mouth.

"Thank you." Jimin said squeezing his eyes shut and waiting for the impact of the bullet.

Yoongi sputtered at his words. Thank you? THANK YOU?

Hands shaking he put the gun back in his belt and bolted from the store just as Jimin opened his tear filled eyes.

Weeks went by and Yoongi couldn't get himself to do the job or stop thinking about the kid. Why would he say thank you?

Giving up he called one of his good friends who also worked in the company Hoseok.

"What's up?" Hoseok asked sounding happy as ever despite his odd career choice.

"Can we meet up? I have something serious to talk about and it's been killing me for weeks." Yoongi said sounding desperate which was rare for him.

"Of course, come on over." Hoseok said before hanging up and getting ready.

He didn't know what Yoongi needed help with but Yoongi NEVER asked for help so he had to be prepared for the worst.

Yoongi arrived within the hour and sat on Hoseok's couch.

"What's wrong?" Hoseok asked nervously as Yoongi pulled out the file.

"This job, I didn't think it'd be that hard but I can't do it. I don't agree with him being killed but that's not even what is stopping me from doing the job..." Yoongi started looking at Hoseok.
