PROLOGUE

(comment first time read here <3)

In the grand hallways of Sakura High School, a hush fell over the crowd as the a group a boys made their entrance. Thirteen pairs of feet strode with purpose, capturing the attention of everyone present. Whispers filled the air, laden with admiration for these handsome and enigmatic boys.

"They are truly a sight to behold, so incredibly good-looking," murmured one student, unable to tear their eyes away.

A skeptical voice chimed in, "But have you noticed? They hardly ever talk to girls."

"You're right," another replied, nodding in agreement. "I can't recall seeing them engage in a conversation with a girl, let alone show any interest."

A sudden realization sparked excitement in their conversation. "Wait, no, there was that one girl, right?"

"Yes, I remember her," a voice confirmed.

The details escaped their grasp momentarily. Frustration filled the air as they struggled to recall her name. "Reiko? Riko?" they speculated.

"No, her name was Rose," someone interjected, finally breaking through the fog of uncertainty.

As the Kings strode down the hallway, thirteen pairs of feet echoing in unison, the entire school watched in awe. The aura they exuded was intimidating, suffocating even. The students stood frozen, unable to breathe under the weight of their presence. This was Sakura High School's ruling elite—the Kings.

Accustomed to the attention, the Kings paid it no mind. They continued their graceful glide through the hallway, leaving behind a trail of charisma and mystery that seemed to hang in the air long after they had passed.

Curiosity lingered among the onlookers, eager to catch a glimpse of the mysterious girl that had caught the Kings' attention. "But where is she now? Why haven't we seen her around?" they wondered aloud.

A voice, filled with sadness, shattered the hopeful anticipation. "You silly, don't you remember? She passed away a year ago."

The revelation struck Kim Dani, who had been quietly listening to the conversation. Startled, she clutched her books tightly to her chest, feeling a chill run down her spine. Realizing she had been eavesdropping, she knew it was time to depart.
